Pem has a fight with HIM, her uncle, who had kidnapped and tortured Professor Utonium. She and the girls manage to save him, but something happens to her that changes her forever... her white hair and pale appearance were the least important things about her... Professor Utonium takes care of her at his house, and the girls decide to have a meeting with Pem in her old room. They have a pleasant chat, and although Blossom is still doubtful about Pem, she accepts that her demonic nature isn't so bad after all.
