The best of GRANDVALIRA
Fragmento 20 - WINTER SEASON III - Back to the roots
Once I was taken to the snow, back in the epic winter of 2009 in Grandvalira/Andorra, I was domed to never go back to summer days and was destined to follow the winter. Now after almost 2 years of traveling the world and going from north to south winters I am back to the roots. The first green run I ever ride, on a poor rental Salomon board, and the crazy Argentines adventures I used to have back in the days are going to be part of my daily life again. Now time for the snow and time for discipline. I am attempting my level 3 CASI at the end of march and I must train. I am doing a small break from instructing full time so I can spend more time working of my snowboard performance, on my deep knowledge of technique and art of SNOWBOARDING! I feel so excited that it’s hard for me to realize I came so far on my life time dream career. Fabulous. Now time for me to finally get that goodness body and practice my most dangerous trick I want to achieve. Backflips are on the top of my list, no falls no balls! As I use to say to my guests “you’ll only know if you reach your limite by trying, falling, trying, falling and trying again. Until your body hurts and your mind is set to succeed.
On my way to Andorra after a very intense week in Toulouse. As tommy says “Toloose” ahah I can’t stop thinking about the great expeditions we are going to live all together. New season, new crew. To start with, I cannot even believe I will have the honor to spend another winter season with my dearest friend/best friend MOWIE! 😉 the whole story starts with us thinking about where to go next and realizing that she would be going to Zermatt to train for her level 3 NZ and me going to Andorra. But life gives you lemons sometimes and we should always do and most importantly drink LEMONADE! There she goes, another unforgettable season i will be sharing with her. Another crazy chick that will be joining us is Laura! Now Laura is going to attempt the level 3 with me, and she is my best partner in crime in park! The best park companion to be honest, love the pussy on the rail 😉 The boyz shall be presented now : Starting with the surprise of the season Harry Hadley! Yes, yes I know he is a skier, a very good skier actually but still A “skieur” I hope he will cope with the boarders strapping in. He is a good boy, I didn’t got much time to get to know him really well, but I know we will become good brother and sister! 😉 The second man of the band is my lovely French friend Robin! Now Robin just got his level 2 and I am super stock to have motivate him to do his levels with CASI and to open the door to him on this beautiful industry ! Finally after so many long talk we will be shredding together! Robin staged his best friend from wake boarding Max, or Mad Max, or was I call him Maxou who also will pass his level one and two. He is the craziest snowboarder I ever seen, I mean not just he is good but he is great fun to ride with. Finally but not for last, my dear womby Tommy! He his the best little shredder I meet in falls creek, and the true (he is not aware) my plans are to rip his head off and get all his powerful knowledges and skills of snowboarding! He is a geek and I love that on him. I feel that I can actually learn so much from him, since hanging together I can already feel my grey mass grow grow grow grow with all the pro names, the technical vocabulary, the expensive words and most off all the freaking motivation to sleep, ride and eat. Setting my mind for that. The boyz do not even imagine how crazy party living drunk it is Andorra, and that very easy you can get lost in between two beers after work. Thank god we are living in el tarter. Best town in the area, calm.
FINALLY FIRST DAY RIDING! Wow okay so just to update a little bit, I now own some great UNION (triolagie) bindings and the best snowboard boot I ever owned THIRTY TWO ! Also got myself another very good helmet from bern! So at this moment I am boarding with most of my favorite brands, UNION and GNU. Picture for my overalls and roxy jacket. All ready to start my intense training for my CASI level 3! So excited I don’t even realise it’s actually happening! The snow fall last night made us enjoy fresh snow track in freeride areas of Grau Roig and SOLDEU!
To explain a little bit of my experience of this season : I broke my COLLARBONE. COLLARBONE? What the f🍑🍣🍘 is that ? Well I also didn’t imagine the importance of this bone in my body before I actually broken it. Best and worst experience I ever lived. It got all my plans mix up, and now I will have to wait until next northern winter to pass my level 3, but it’s alright I got the chance and privilege to have meet one of my biggest inspiration in the world GENEVIEVE PILOTTO! She is, out of five, the only woman at achieving her level 4 with CASI! She is not just any type of ripper, she understand so much about snowboard it can give you the goosebumps ! Glad I can now learn so much with her, and truly Considere her as a friend! She is insanely good, at snowboarding, and people’s skills and as a mum of two little dragons! I worked hard to understand with this lesson that you need to listen to the mountain and your heart. You need to be selfish and get into your own mood to snowboard. There is time for fun and to ride with friends, to be chill and not overthink, but when you are training, learning and trying a new trick you should get into the zone of your own mind, and maybe even go for a ride by yourself! I am not recovering for the next month, after two that already pasted by. I am working hard and resting as much as I can.
I got the best opportunity to go work in Farellones, Chile! So stocked for that I still do not believe my luck! After a door closed and I cut some people off my life I feel strong again to focus on my winter paths. Following the winter never seemed so logical for me. I wanna keep doing this, for as many years as I can and as my body can handle it!
The fact of been injured just made me stronger and excited for the future, it didn’t stop me from going snowboarding on the last 3 days of the season, so I can confirme : “You can rip with a broken collarbone”
Stay tune for more adventures !
NEXT STOP : CHILE PLEASE! 🇨🇱
Many thanks to you all that follow my winters
Life as good in sorrento
Fragmento 19#
Fragmento #19 : Me and Mollie got some time of the hill for our last week together. Another adventure as start. We are in mount beauty Victoria in this big country that I almost call home. After this amazing season, we are ready for some time off the hill to get ready to go on the road. Unfortunately Mollie is going back to England in a week, but we got the chance to chill at home and even got some sunny days and go for some walk around the river. Now it's time to go, Brit, Ross and me and heading to drop Mollie in Melbourne and off we go to the first stop : PORTALIGTON - what a beautiful bay town. Thanks to the beautiful family of Brit we settle down in for a couple of day. It was rainy and Brit was pretty sick, so we just chill. I met her amazing mum, Diane, and her super dad Dave. Also met her younger sister Emilie. Ross and Brit are my favourite couple. I met Ross in the begging of the season in falls creek, when Boddy the explore came to introduce himself. He also was my neighbour what made me spend a lot of time with him. He is great and I love him with all his FIFA skills and great sessions skiing. Just like Brit, she worked with me in SnowClub, she is the lovely lady who always help us out when little 3 years old are crying. She is one of my best friends here in falls, and my partner in crime. I mean everytime we would see each other at the pub we would scream "SHOOOOTS" and naively think that the other one will not get shots, and will always drink 4 shots for consequence ! MELBOURNE - got the chance to explore a bit Melbourne with my dear snow bunny Tommy, things got pretty interesting and I can def say that I enjoy his company. Talking lots about snowboard and how this next season is going to be amazing. Tommy is going back to Japan but this time he got himself a VWH and wants to stay for the season in hakuba and then travel around niseko. I wish I got the chance to go back there again, and I will in the new couple of years for sure! Now we met his lovely friends, Kara, Mia and Jazz and Harry! Finally for the first time in Australia, Tommy took me to a proper dance club where we had fun until 3AM! The boys came along and I dance like no one was watching, felt so good. Got the chance to meet a lovely boy called Dev, such a great hearth and open mind! GREAT OCEAN ROAD - traveling around Australia as been my childhood dream, now I believe that I fell in love with this country and I need to come here, again and again until I discover all of it. I can't just come around for 6 months, lived 4 months in Falls creek and go back home for another winter. So a grab my little bag back and here I go with my lovely partner in road trip adventures, brit! The great ocean road is just like the "Costa Vicentina" in Portugal, actually more and more I believe Australia in a big version of Portugal, with a lot more of desert, but so many similar landscapes and lost places! Anyway so, everyone has a different experience doing this "great" ocean road. Starting from the famous bells beach and torquey, I have been running to see all the incredible desert beaches from here. I understand how everyone says that is pretty touristic, but at the end of the day, we know that everyone wants to see the twelve apostles, and it's great and beautiful and I will always remember. Driving a long the ocean, stoping in every wildlife sanctuary we could, I felt like home. The nature is so intense here in Australia, still so aboriginal and deep. I truly felt connect with this beautiful place. Drove from Apollo bay, where we finally made friends, and hangout during the spring weather, from rainy morning to wet afternoon in the sun! Finally got to Lorne, and went to climb the Otway forest and went for a kuala hunt! I was so excited for the first time in my life I was going to see my ultimate favourite animal in the world, and IN HIS NATURAL HABITAT! Such a great time we had in the great ocean road, finally back to Portalington, Tommy came visit me and we head back together home to Melbourne! Meanwhile I back all my thing I was ready to start working again in MT beauty.
Happy days in falls creek!!

AUSTRALIA FALSSCREEK SEASON III MONTH ONE -JUNE take your shoes and go for an adventure Arriving to Australia after what I call my two months of summer holidays around Europe, always in between two country and moving from place to place. I believe, that now I can never stay still. Life is great. Back to winter, Melbourne was my first destination for only two day. Got the chance to meet all my best friend Rowan friends, and after only a few hours I was drinking originals VB's long neck and cooking sausages in the barbecue. Defenatly the best version of myself being a true Aussie. After that I finally got the change to explore Rowan's hometown, Glewrowan lost in he valleys of the higher country of Victoria. I saw new nature, with talk trees and birds of millions colours. Every morning, wake up at 6:00am and meditated with the sun rising on top of the mountains, my home to be, Falls Creek. We explore the wet lands and Wangaratta city, but now much to say, the pictures talk for them selves. It was lovely to be surrounded by nature. We finally prepared ourself for the BIG DAY, he hiring clinic was one of the most funny experiences I had so far here in Australia, basically we got to meet all the future to be instructors of Falls Creek. We meet all the supervisors, Nozomi San and Tom, Dickie and Phill, and Nick and Steve from park events. I will take more time to talk about everyone. We did a whole morning of games and they test our psychological skills, and team work fellowship. Wish I didn't really had to worry do to my two seasons of experience. Got the job, meet the colognes, I there I was waiting for the snow to come. It actually took a while to come, so I made a good friend, my beard friend, and on and on adventures we went. Exploring the valleys and mountains of falls creek, going through forest of the wildness of the higher country of Victoria. Saw the most incredible breath taking sunsets of my life, and there we were sharing those unique moments together. Walks and talks about everything and anything, just enjoying the time of living. As I thought I found someone like me, a hippie. I was wrong. After putting some skis on, as I was forced to do crosse over training, I got really excited to get my level one skiing instructor, but the cosmos had other plans for me, and as we finish the orientation, I did one blue round, and crash myself, leading myself to eat my ski pole and wipe plash my neck. After this beautiful event, I couldn't move for a week, and didn't work until then. The only positive side of this story was that I got to know beautiful fisioterapist called Nadia and Frankie. They used acculponture on my neck and that was a pretty amazing experience for me. Life at falls creek is so full of experiences and things happening, that for the first time that I have been traveling I feel like I have no time to write posts. Don't get me wrong it's not like I don't want to share all this ones with you, but I never stop. After the injury I was back on the game for a whole big periodo. Weeks passed like days and all of the sudden it's been two months I am in Australia. I absolutely love Australia and their culture. There are so many positive people around me, people who listen to you, who are actually interest in what you do, and if they can help you or give some of them to your own life growing, they will. And that something I have always try to do. I love making people special, and since I have been working for Tom I feel very very special. They take care of me, if I do a good job, and I believe I always give me best to clients. I have been more working on privates and High School groups. People that will might come back next year and I might have them again, wish is great. Time for more adventures. MONTH JULY - NISSEN AIDS Mother Nature was been hard on us, after 4 days of wind hold during the months of July, a lot of rain and a full on grey sky, everyone was suffering from what we call "Nissen AIDS". Nissen is the biggest staff accommodation for our company and of courses, there is only need of one person to be sick that everyone get there turn to call in sick. Luckily I have the chance to stay down the hill at Frank's and Darren's house. In mount beauty everything is more chilled and we sleep more then 8 good hours to be ready for hard weather days. I finally got the chance to sing for open mic, and guess what my friends Megan and Charlie came to watch, and they own the new place in town called "the Chophouse" and they suggest me to sing on Saturday. After a week of being very nervous, every one came to the call, and the restaurant was full! I got myself the chance of framing the gig, and lots of whiskies on the rocks! Also meet an extraordinary person, Nugget the chef at the chop. Even if Saturday was absolutely crazy good, I still feel and believe that I am not a Saturday singer without my brother or concha. Oh dear concha I miss you. This months was all about doing a bit of everything. Got the chance to finally work directly to Noz and all her little small skiers. What an adventure, a week and a half going from top to bottom of Pete train, with kids asking me "where is Pete?" at least 355 times a day, or being really scared and cry because he was around. Also being good to work with Frank the Tank or Jane was really benefit to my ski instructor skills. Nina was there for the busiest day ever of the season, and give me the best tric ever with small kids on skis THE ULAPUP ! What a great invention. Luckily I got the change of teach two adorable girls from Melbourne, I am not going to say their names cuz of my other absolute legends that I tough this year, either in high school groups or with my local kids, but these two were the best! Got a private request of 8h for the weekend, sunny, good snow conditions and the girls had a blast at the end of the wend they were going to threes and doing small jumps! Time of my life. After a busy weeks with the kids in SnowClub, engine for them and make them my little illuminati of skiing, I got back to snowboard. And after going to line up, send to teens academy and re send to line up, finally Dicky send me to the best program in the hill, COFFE CLUB! Alright, so best idea ever, still to dveloppe but great idea from FallsCreek. Parents who book ski or snowboard lesson for their kids, SnowClub or junior workshop have their lift pass and 2h of lesson for a certain amount of money, super friendly and advantage. They have their time to chill and not worry to much about getting to their adult lesson, and when arrive they get a COFFE or hot drink or their choice and hangout with the other parents, and instructors. Everyone get to know each other and chat for half an hour. Best time quality to start talking about material if it's their first time, or even reinsured them that it's all about having a good time learning new skills or a new sport. Specially snowboard, believe me this 15 minutes chat can change the life, of the guest and of the instructor Ahahah you guys are with me right ! Well this week, my life was about to change. Arriving to the meeting at 10:00am I met who would be the best group guest I ever had in my snowboard instructor life, and I guess after this it really made me realise that I want to become a tour guide, a exploring guide or a SNOWBOARD MASTER JEDI! Ahahah Met Keight, lovely father who could kill it in snowboard, just wanted to learn the fun thing to show off to his youngest daughter. Made him do flat 180 and crazy laid back tail press, he was happy, I was STOKED! Not just with his great performance and learning skills, but on my capacity of teaching something that I believe I am not very good at ahah. Met Dave, goofy rider and leather of a family of girls ahah, he surprised me and himself every time we worked on a drill. So satisfying, I mean it's so important for us to make ourself understandable for the guest, but when they get so excited because they are actually feeling the difference and understanding what was "wrong" or what they need to improve to get a skills, wow it's just free happiness for me! And Dave had the two lovely ladies, Karol and Michelle always in courage him! Now, his two lovely ladies, were defenatly my favourite guest to teach. Not just because they were nice and outgoing, they actually wanted to get tot know me, and had super interesting conversation on the long lifts, but they were pretty good at snowboarding at a middle age! Made me lose my fear of becoming a mother, and still freacking rock at snowboarding! Funny, so two completely different woman. Carol, just wanted to have a good time, enjoy the good weather that was predict for that week and explore a bit better he harder terrain, witch was a great challenge for me, since I was always on slide slip hill for the past month or in drovers dreams trying to teach toes side turn to the millions of guest on holidays. Finally I got time to explore areas in falls creek, like ruined castle and summit. The mission one day was to get mor miles on our skills, so we did all the runs that were in good conditions and even went free ride in what I call "the backcountry of FallsCreek" . Now, Michelle she is great. She comes to falls creek for the past 15years, and straits away I though "how the hell am I going to make it the most original and unforgettable stay in falls creek in my lesson" so Michelle is a very strong woman that very well what she wants to do, and how she want it to do, the true is that no one can't say no to at least try, when I put on my very friendly face and tune of voice! I am calm and reassure her in everything she freaks out. "Let's go do tree runs, great for coordination and consisting riding for advance riders like you guys" well, Michelle was already saying "nah I will go through the groomed" the true is that after a little chat here, a little drill there, and by the end of the day not just she was riding with us through the tree but she was the best in the group. The next day in the morning, she says "shall you worm up through the tree???" Aahah great! Now this people were booked for the whole week, and from low blues they finish the week being hight blacks ! I put so much of my inspiration on these lessons that 2h run and felt like 20minutes. We would start with a 10 minutes standing warm up and yoga session, awaking all our body muscle for the day, embarrassing the glorious sun that we had most of the week. Working with some breading exercises for better endurance performance and build up our confidence! We had a few special lessons, were we went through the material, I am obsessed with teaching the good trick to change the gear and to maintain it good ourselves. Also challenged them to change their stances to create a difference in their different possibilities of riding. To get close to their own board, to connect with it, as it becomes their best friend and their main tool to explore the mountain around them. After developing and working lots of the 5 main skills of a snowboarder, stance and balance, steering with the lower body, pressure, balance on the working edge and timing and coordination thing got very interesting and challenging for me. It's quite rare to have guest ready to learn how to carve, or how to do short dynamic turns, and ride on bumps, specially for snowboard, it's not great fun. We did it in our own time, taking it easy and making it the best new de covering of skills ever. Everyone was happy, content and in a safe environment while learning it. They were so proud that the request me for every day, they left written positive feedback, add me on Facebook and ask me my details, so they will always get me as a teacher, as a guide and specially as a SNOWBOARD MASTER JEDI. Many thanks to you guys, who sponsor my best guest experiences and fun lessons in the mountain. My guest were happy, my supervisors were happy, my co workers proud of me and I was stoked. So far I am having the best time of my life. I know everyone complains about the weather conditions, and it's defenatly sucks when it's raining and you are out doors trying to make it the best experience out of expensive snowboard lessons, and the wind this season made us loose lots of days of work, but either you "suck it up princess" and try to transform it to the best positive experience, or you will get depressed. I imagine myself dancing in the rain, and thinking to myself "I looooooove rain" and even though I didn't, it was best for me to live it like I did, as I was going to get very wet for the next few days. Something that really help me out was setting my mind that I wanted to learn how to ride as good as I ride in good fresh snow, in the crazy wet slash of the end of the day. And so I did, become really good and even started to train skiing! Living down the mountain really help me keeping my motivation and inspiration for every day, and I cannot thank better my two great friends, Frank and Darren for letting me stay at their house all the time. I had my scape, my afternoon time to relax and prepare my day for the next day. Also, they were always there to have interesting chats about life and work and work and life. They are the best and I am really lucky to have those two in my life. Brother for life I shall say! Meanwhile the season is about to end and there is still so much going on. I play again at the chop house that made me win the best live perform of the season, letting you guys know that John butler came and play at Astra!! Maybe next season I will be able to play with him, who know !!! Any ways, great performs, less crowded but best son acoustic and really felt inspired that nigh, even though dear Harry and Will came with Rowan completely drunk, and Harry was a nutty boy playing with my microphone! The weeks go through and the week of course for the APSI Adaptive arrived. Laura, Callum, Nick and Simon oh and of course myself join the group of our lovely Chawie. Spend the week learning about who to teach on a mono ski, how to ride it, literally did main street on a bi-ski, it was crazy. We learn all the techniques to guide blind people, mor to help people with mental disorders. Such a great feel, I was imagining while I was going down the run with the mono ski, thinking how AWSOME and great feeling was for me, I couldn't imagine for a real person who normally can do ski or snowboard, or even other physical activities, I verse into tear of a mixture of happiness, adrenaline and compassion. The sun was sunny for the most of the week, until we had to do our exam, in the poring rain. No but literally, like a cow that pees into grass, or 70k winds that made everyone stay at home, apart from some cute people coming with their kids that never saw the snow, we had to be enthusiastic giving our lessons, and pretend that the conditions were great to learn how to mono ski!! Ahahah great fun, my demo were shit, for the first time I got frustrated and unhappy with my performance. Something that was so important people for me, and that I but so much effort into, I was watching it run away from my hand, because of the snow and weather conditions. Dam it.... But thank good Chawie exist and I got the chance for doing it all over again. Last time, good time. GOT IT, after two beers and an hour we got our diplomas still listening to the rain out side at sting ray. At this time I feel a bit confused a lost about what I should do but I was happy to go back to Nissen and spend some fun time with friends from the lift company and the rentals, and laundry. Best friends with run 50 and room 34! The boyyzzzzzz! I can say that I was pretty much one of the guys, and a Tom boy for the last month of falls creek. There was less and less work, and less and less work and the even less work, so no time for us to wait and go ride park. Park park park park every day park. With sun, rain, wind we don't care we were there. Me and Laura pretty much lived their. Park rats marcel would call us, we were just having fun and trying not to hurt ourself. Laura got the 360 out of the last jump, and I got the nice method that I wanted!!! When ride with the boyyzzzzzz and had super fun on fox trail and just riding like kids in a train going behind each other and enjoy ourselves in the snow of falls creek. Brit and I organise to go on a road trip through the great ocean road. We had lots of people coming and going or that we would see during our trip. I got the chance to spend more time up the hill, and party hard with everyone. Good times, lots to do and smily faces everywhere! Went every night eat at our lovely elk or to the chop house last EPIC night, where I spend more time with Tommy and Jack. Their lovely and at this point with Mollie we are thinking "where the fuck were this boys the whole season ???" And Mollie was right when she says "it's only at the end of the season that you really get to know each other." People do spend more time together, there is less work, we can really do much then hang out all together in the runs and build rails and quikers to jump of stuff. Crazy days, epic days with these two. Can't wait for more adventure. The season ends, and we didn't notice 4months just gone under need our eyes. We laught about it at the begging of e season, but we were right, "it will pass fast she says" yup. Time for us to get our butts down the hill and realise that the biggest storm of snow of the season was going to falls the week after we quite, or better say sigh off. I mean I met so many incredible people, made so many friends for life that I would be hard to start somewhere. From all the cool people in guess servicing, that absolutely love, to the guys how take photos of us all day and of course the beautiful people how work in rentals. I will slowly start taking about them next season, when I see them back again. Best souther season of my life. Ahah it's the first, of many to come. Now time to go explore the great ocean road and Melbourne ! Soon I will be back to Mount Beauty, to work until next winter season! I made lots of important decisions these season, and will go back to Andorra to get my level 3! Happy days! Thanks Falls Creek.
Falls Creek on my mind. MOOD. 🔵
FALLS CREEK CHAPTER I
Falls Creek Arriving to a new country has always been a very exciting process in my life. New landscapes, new people, new culture, but better then anything, new WINTER SEASON. Volume 3 of my “Follow The Winter” saga and here I am in the high country of Victoria, Falls Creek. After sorting all my begging of work and getting to know I few people, and co workers I started my adventure. The first weeks there wasn’t even snow, but no time to waste, there was a big playground out there for me to explore. Got my hiking boots out and my go pro and walked around the valleys to understand better this beautiful nature and national park. There is so many eco-systems and biodiversity that my inspiration for the winter got bost up, I got lost a few times dreaming of what this winter season was going to bring me. The snow arrived, and all the hills turned white, the rotine started and all of the suddend we where in July. We can defenatly say that the weather and mother nature weren’t in our side for most the month, and we did miss the blue sky, but I cannot forget the magical moments I got with my guests, from 3 years old on skis, to great woman on coffe club crossing over to snowboard that made my weeks pass like days, and that will remain in my memorie forever. Now with all this, something really special happend. I falled in love. I trully can say that my eyes sparling with the idea of being apart of the magic of Falls Creek. Me, Sarah falled in love with Falls Creek. The communaty is small, but strong. We love our mountain and we take care of eatch other. There is always a smile to give to Byron, or a wish of good days to all my fellow companions the lifties. There is always time to pop in to the office to see the beautiful ladies, Foxie Julia and Fiona, and check on everybody in the early mornings in the lockers. There is always wise conversations to have with the old instructors who have been here forever, Danielle, Nina or even Nigel. There is always a handful hand from Nick or Steph, and if you are still learning about everything, we can always count with the numberous oldies that came back every winter season, a very special thanks to Sean’s who have tremendous patience for me, asking him millions of times for guidence. The experience that I take out of this place, I will never find somewhere else, this unique and original. And most important for me, I feeled acepted here, for who I am and for what I can give to this place. How that the sun is back, and we dance pray for more freshies to fall, time for me to get my carrer goals on focus. I am starding to create my little reputation of “singer/songwritter” and want to get better at skiing! All this small dreams, that I will concord with the help of Falls Creek. Falls creek acepted me, and for sure adpted me. I feel like I want to become like Cassidy or Micheala and even Mark that come over and over again every years for a million years. Untill the day I will stole G says “I came here 40 years ago on a VWH and still am on one” So a million thanks too all of you guys who smile back at me and suposor my happy days in the mountain.
PS. thanks to all the legends that have been out there riding with me special thanks to the STOODED CREW (then know who then are) for letting be of you the boys ! Love you guys
Love, Sarah Personne
MEANWHILE IN TOULOUSE
Got a phone call from my old boss. Sebastien Maury, the best employee I ever had, and that I will ever have I guess. I started working for him when I was only 19, and worked for him for two long years. He tough me everything, helped me to get my potential at sells and communication at it's best. And of course he his a very good friend! I build up a little family at the select. He call me in urgency, because my "borrowed father" Nanar broke his shoulder and at to be replaced. So I decided that it was time for me to actually do something productive of my holidays back in Europe and took the bus for 22 hours with mum and arrive to France on the 2th of May! The same day I arrived I worked, and my second day of job I got the best working day of the shop of the year, not bad he said! I guess I never lost it after being out doing winter seasons. I mean, it's not by far the hardest job to do in the world, it's a bit physical because you are standing up for ages, but you have to be psicologicaly strong because of the drunk people. Finally I got to see everyone for a little bit, all my best friends from the old times. The Yotokoyoko Family and all my friends from rue pargaminiere. The Jamsession artists and the bohemian troubadours of the streets. I got the chance of getting on my music soul up to its high, and that was very satisfying. One of my very good friends, Louella got her first child after being living in Jamaica, I was so happy for her seeing her so happy and fullied, her baby, the most beautiful baby in the whole Toulouse, she now 6 months old. I had the best time afternoon 3 weeks, time to go back to winter! Follow the winter.

MEANWHILE IN PORTUGAL
They say, you are never at home if your homies are not around. True story, I arrive at Lisbon and my two absolutely best friends arrived from Brasil the same day. Life is perfect, even thought my jet leg is still a big problem. After my delay in Barcelona, or such I say Sitges, I got to Lisbon. Just two day after it was the wedding of one of my long time good friends, Francisca Soromenho and now Ascenso ! Great ceremony, the "missa" was absolutely beautiful and the party until late at night! Later that week, we drove down south to go see one of my sisters of life, Aninhas. Who is pregnant !! Ahhh it's such an incredible experience to live at only 23 years old, and I think it fixe her perfectly, her and her lovely man Miguel they live in this beautiful mount in the warm south of Portugal and live happy ever after! It's going to be a boy, and we all (Concha, Daisy and Pipa and of course myself) will be the good mothers and give all a very particular gift. I give him the power of strength, of adoring life out doors, and grow surrounded by nature and all it beauty. I truly believe it's going to be one of the biggest disease of the next generations. Forgetting how important is to play out side, in the tree fields of near to the sea, without any advice or machines like iPad and shit. It was a lovely journey and it was almost my first day of summer, lovely landscape lovely weather! After this, truly I was suppose to go to Toulouse, but live was so good in Lisbon, I was loving discovering the new version of my best friend Concha and we where together most of the days, well every day and night! I fall in love again with her! We got the chance of playing at the Banana Coffee three times and make a bit of money witch was super good, because I believe a lot in our music and our performance skills! And those concerts were the prove of it, our love for music, our true expression of life and our endless friendship! Every week I would go to the rehearsals of concha' s brother, Pedro band! FOR PETE SAKE it's been now more then two years, maybe even three that I know then all, and love them! Their all so passionate do by music, by their music. But I talk better about them in my new article called "EARTH SYMPHONY". The true is that every time I am with Concha, we normally stop being two and start to be one, that's the difference I think this time, we actually stop becoming one, but start to complete each other like two strong individuals. Any way that the whole conception of our band, 2112. Two United to become one strong commune. Wow that make so much sense when you know us. Can wait to be out there just living life and making music with her. Lisbon was great and I got the chance to work again with my favourite shoe brand PAEZ! And hopefully one day I will get support from them for my travels! I guess having a room this time also help me to feel really good about being there, I finally got time to be with me and take care of my body. I am now ready for my three last weeks in Europe! Heading to my hometown Toulouse, to work for my old boss and see and my good friends !
Meanwhile in Sitges the capital of homosexuals! Love it 💕
