I say this completely unironically, every cell in my body hooting with sincere need --

I need Aziraphale to 🔥get angry🔥 in Season 3.

In s2, it's clear from the first episode -- Crowley has his own unprocessed (and unshared) trauma, and he's vacillating between fight and flight. And "fight" is coming out as hissing and shouting and being cruel to Aziraphale.

It's sharp difference from S1, when Crowley performs anger and being "demonic." Before, Crowley could push Aziraphale up against a wall, hiss and spit in his face nose-to-nose, and Aziraphale isn't afraid at all. He's confident and secure with Crowley.

Season 2? All that shouting is from fresh unprocessed trauma, and it has a BITE to it. Airaphale looks panicked, fearful, more like how he reacted to the other angels in the first season. The trauma on his side? His "F response" is fawning. Even when he has his own strong feelings, when he's face to face with a furious Crowley, he automatically slides into that familiar dynamic of appeasement, focuses more on how to manage Crowley's emotions than voicing his own.

First episode, look at Aziraphale's facial expressions before and after Crowley storms out to the street. While engaged with Crowley's anger, he's in distress, a hint of pleading, wide eyes. When he's finally alone? That angel is simmering with repressed anger and frustration.

Jaw tense, mouth drawn tight, body stiff and still. Just like Crowley doesn't have the tools or awareness to rein his anger in, Aziraphale doesn't seem to be able to let his out.
