Apologies for being quiet the past couple days! ... and further apologies for how I'm going to poof off of social media for a little bit at the demand of my friends and family lol. It's been pretty rough for me I'm not going to lie.
I've been seeing a lot of the feedback for ILTV and a lot of it has been very positive and I appreciate the kind words I have received! It really means a lot, since this was a very personal project for me about both my own life and a game I adore. But I wanted to address a couple of things before I disappear for a little bit, just so it doesn't seem like I'm ignoring everyone.
I do know there's still a few bugs with the endings! I apologize for that. It seems the issues are more ingrained than I could quick playtest and repair in a couple of hours. I haven't had the energy to fix it, but I'll do it as soon as I am able. There has been some confusion regarding unlocking some of the endings as well, and I fear it might be in part due to some of the bugs. I'd never tried (or seen) endings delivered in this manner before, so it was a very experimental feature for me. I apologize that it was not as polished as I would have liked. It will not be like this forever, though, and I will hopefully have the time to make proper walkthrough videos soon to go along with the repairs.
Secondly, I've seen some people disappointed by the turn into the [Weird] Route, and I'm very sorry to have caused such grievous disappointment for those people. It was never my intention to target a certain group and rip joy out from under you. I tried to make it a point to communicate the darker tone and the fact that the game was not only about Tenna through my devlogs, previews, and the content warning, but in my fear of spoiling too much I may have been too vague. This, too, was an experimental concept for me, so I wasn't sure how much was going to be too much and how much would be too little. I will try and adjust the game's front page in hopes of better communicating things, but again, I am very drained at the moment, so this will not be immediate.
Again, a lot of the feedback I've received directly has still been very nice, and no matter what experience you've had, I appreciate everyone that ever gave my game a chance. It's not for everyone, but that's okay, and if what I do even makes a couple people out there happy, then they're the people I want to do stuff for.
With that said, I'm gonna disappear for a few days or so to collect myself back into feeling like a human being. I will be okay, thanks to the support of my very incredible and caring friends.
See you guys after Chapter 5!! :D
