cartinelli modern high school au where angie's the theatre geek and peggy's the overachiever that's on student council and the football team (which she had to argue herself onto because it was previously boys only), and they're not in each other's friend groups and hardly ever hang out openly, but sometimes they make out underneath the bleachers or at the back of the auditorium

Angie slams her locker shut, as hard as she can without making Ms. Fry glare in her direction, which, to be fair, she often does.

(It’s not like it was Angie’s fault that she accidentally dropped the entire bag of fish they were supposed to dissect in Biology I on the floor last year. It was an unfortunate occurrence, obviously, but Jack Thompson threw a football at her head and excuse her for wanting to duck. Anyways, Fry’s hated her since.)

“Bad day?” Gloria asks from the locker next to Angie’s. She’s fumbling with the lock. “I think I forgot my code again.”

“42-05-20,” Angie says automatically. “Failed a Calculus test. Peggy Carter broke the curve again.”
