╰♡╮ ⇢ Feeling something give a soft twack against her face, the angel reeled in slight surprise but quick to come out of it as she peered over to the other. There’s a blink of jaded hues before a small shake of her head. “Oh — j .. just a bad day.” Followed by a pause. “What — .. hit me? If I may ask?”
There wasn't any excuse she could conjure up, so, with a sheepish smile the blonde just let down the illusion, making the feathered appendages visible. Raising a finger to point at the them, she chuckled, "For what hit you--these things." And then huffing, she said, "Well, let me try and cheer you up, sweetie. What do you like?"
Flapping the invisible wings on the side of her head, and whoops, there it went again, brushing against someone else's face. At least it wasn't hard enough to hurt them. "Oh, sorry, dearie--" Pause. "You look a little sad?"
{♔} — Manners and a compliment? That wasn’t something she saw every day. “Same to you,” she returned, “and might I ask where you’re from?” At this, she tilted her head, curiosity brimming her gaze. “I would guess Sweden; beautiful girls come from Sweden, you know.”
Waving one hand to push aside the compliment, she chuckled, "Oh, you're going to make me blush. Beautiful, ha. I could say the same to you!" Though, she canted her head to one side, attempting to draw an acceptable answer. "I do a lot of traveling--but I suppose England? How about you, dearie?"
Oh gosh, cute little kittens nuzzling against him! He had to cover his face with one of his hands. He was flushed with pure joy and he slowly sat down, taking mind not to hurt any of the kittens. Even if they weren’t real. They felt real and that’s all that mattered. There was a faint smile tugging at the corner of his lips as he simply enjoyed the feeling of being surrounded by his favorite animal. They felt warm to him, and fuzzy. Ever so— he picked one up and nuzzled against the fur on it’s back as his hands were gentle petting the creature’s head. “So cute…” He finally glanced up to the girl, a faint look of surprise on his face from the compliment and his face heated more.
--Was the stranger blushing? How absolutely adorable and precious. She was reminded of why she continued to keep up the current manifestation of kittens, that basking in the other's joy was enough. It was her only purpose now, really, to amuse others with what little she could do. And humans were easily pleased and occupied, once their indulgences were revealed. Nodding to herself, she beamed, pleased that her work was appreciated, before sliding herself closer to the other, hoping to strike conversation. "Ah, these cats won't last forever--but any time you want to cuddle one, you can just call me over." As much as she wanted to keep it up, if she distanced herself too much, the illusion would shatter immediately. Recalling that she hadn't introduced herself, she offered a light smile and a wave. "Oh, right, name's Lulu. What about you, sweetie?"
"Hmm…"
He hadn’t retorted with a legible response in the beginning, considering he was pondering over the matter as to whether if she was but a being with odd abilities or if she wasn’t human at all—just a goddess. Elliot hadn’t heard of her, so maybe the second option wasn’t accurate.
"Is that a cover of sorts? Or are you just being honest?"
The apprentice hadn’t wished to cause for any sort of vindictiveness to assert from his lips, but it may have appeared as such.
"What?" It hadn't occurred to her that her words could have been doubted, not when she was so truthful. Though, thinking now, being so blunt with someone could be a little off-putting. Blinking, she held up a hand, as if prepared to make a pledge. A ghostly image of the animals flickered around her, before vanishing after she shook her head, an amused smile forming on her face. "Nah, I don't really have anything to cover. I'm an open book, darling."
Was she showing off when she manifested a floating book above her head? A little.
Oh, Ince didn’t like to be hit, even if it was an accident. The demon was more than livid over the slight pop to the mouth he received at the result of wings he could only just see the silhouette of. Usually, he was mild mannered, willing to look over things and accept accidents but today was an entirely different story. Not only was he hit, but he was popped in the mouth, and it actually hurt a bit. It hurt enough for the informant to reach up, rubbing his slightly reddening jaw before coming up with a way to get this woman back for the disrespect.
Materializing his own set of leathery, large, black wings, he moved behind her. The appendage closest to her flexed, flinging itself forward and smacking straight into her figure. Whether she fell down was not of Ince’s interest, he only stopped to place a hand on his hips, cocking his body a bit to the side before speaking, ” Oops, that was an accident, “
Out of all the reactions she had been expecting, this didn't even come close to any of them. She only managed to catch sight of the wings before it hit her, making her stumble while she worked to regain her balance. Maybe she should have been angry, but only surprise showed across her features as her single visible eye blinked, jaw slackening in disbelief. Placing her hand against her cheek, as if still trying to grasp the reality of the situation, she cocked her head to one side, glancing back at the stranger with something akin to awe. Well, this was an interesting individual, to say the least. "Accident my ass," she mumbled, the pain still lingering from being slapped with the other's wing. But clearly, she wasn't as vexed as she should have been at being hit. Allowing the wings on the side of her head to lax and become visible, she shrugged, smiling sheepishly. "I really am sorry about before, though. Hey--how did you do that wing thing?" Her curiosity was too strong for her own good and she didn't think the other could make illusions--or maybe she was being too dismissive of other people also being able to do the same things she could.
♕——Just what was this woman. The Chiropteran looked perplexed as specks of light slimmer about forming a solid crown upon the top of her skull. How cheeks rosy a little as fingers reached up to touch the crown. Quickly she dug into her petticoat pockets to remove a handheld mirror only stare in awe. “A crown for a little while…” The woman’s compliments were making her face light up redder then Mars. “Y-You c-can stop now. T-thank you for the crown…h-how did you manage to do that?” she asked, trying to change the topic.
"Oh, anything for a cutie like you." She beamed, clasping her hands together. The compliments weren't going to stop apparently. And more than pleased with her handiwork, especially the other's reaction, the illusionist felt her pride swell, as if her bloated ego could get any bigger. "How did I mange to..?" Canting her head to one side, she gave a little sigh of understanding when the realization dawned on her. "Oh, it's an illusion, dearie. I can make those as easily as humans breathe. Feels real, though, yeah?" The blonde didn't know how to be subtle about such a fact and she didn't have any desire to hide her ability.
Bruno chuckled and waved his phone, flashing the screen used for Snapchat. “Only capturing our precious first meeting together and sharing it for the world to see.” That, and rubbing it in Gabe’s face that he could get a girl without even having to try. And it worked. Go Bruno. He looked down, blond locks falling to frame his face, and smiled. “You have an adorable smile. Has anyone ever told you that?” Flirting pants: On and ready for action.
Staring at the bright screen, she squinted her eye before turning away to chuckle to herself. "Oh, aren't you just a darling," she was sure the other had ulterior motives for doing so, but it amused her all the same. It really didn't help that he added the compliment. Whoops, it seemed that she succumbed to praise more than she should. The illusionist waved her hand around, as if attempting to dismiss the other's words before they could get to her too much. "Sweetie, you keep saying that and I'll start blushing."
❛ ♛ ┆▌ Her heart skips a beat— once, twice— then splutter as emerald hues teeter to the palm awash in sanguine. Fingers turn rigid where they curl around the strap of her bag, quiet breath shortening as to border on shallow. “I… Ah—" Lashes flutter in near disbelief as the girl queen catches sight of the protruding knife. The overwhelming instinct to assist is rivaled only by the phobia that paralyzes her in its grip. Dimly in her conscious, a dull pain registers within her abdomen. "Lieber Gott, I… My apologies, but I-I don’t believe I can.”
The other's discomfort is almost obvious enough to be tangible. No, it is more than that--does she sense fear? Lulu clicks her tongue, guilt puddling in her for even asking someone else to assist. That still doesn't solve the issue at hand, though. "Don't sweat it, sweet thing. Just turn around if you're ah, uncomfortable with this." With the warning, the illusionist looks back at the knife, face twisting in disdain and pain. Gritting her teeth and attempting not to think too much, she grips the kitchen utensil tightly, before yanking it out. A hiss escapes her, but she sighs feeling the black substance within her slowly mend the wound. "Sorry for asking you to help, dearie."
⊰☆☆☆ “You’re — uh, taking that rather calmly.” He could sense the pain she was feeling, though on a very subtle level. Despite being put off by her calm, he approaches her, soul gem clutched in a hand, ready to lend its magic out to heal the woman. “Yeah, I can help you but… The pole is a big concern. I don’t want to cause any more damage —” He’s just going to not even ask about how she got herself impaled in the first place.
"What can I say? Stuff like this happens a bit too often with me." Her confident smirk is only a front, though. She really doesn't want to deal with the overwhelming stinging from the wound, despite how much her body's composition is working to heal around it. "Ah, really, sweetie, if you could just yank this out as quickly as possible, I'll be fine. I'd do it myself, but--" Gripping the pole, she attempts to tug at it, only succeeding to move it slightly. Being in so much pain makes her muscles weaker than she likes to admit.

The light snow that fell from the sky was enough to send a shiver down Aiko’s back, which was evident by the way his body shivered. But he didn’t mind at all. Sitting on that elevated street corner, he stuck his tongue out and waited for the snowflakes to fall on his tongue. He heard that people did this to taste the water when the snowflake melted.
But when he did, he practically choked, coughing heavily. “F-Fuck!” He coughed again, wondering why anyone would want to choke on snowflakes on purpose.
Winter was really only enjoyable to the blonde for its occasional snow. Reveling in the precipitation, she decided to take a stroll, adorned in a heavy coat to fend off the chilly weather. She took her time, just shuffling around without purpose, hoping to find some sort of entertainment to keep her occupied. And she did, hearing a rather loud curse. The noise caught her attention, and she swiveled her head around in search of the source for the sound. --Where they choking? Concerned, and a little amused, the blonde walked up to the man, leaning over them and asking, "Are you alright, dearie?"
