Yo I absolutely LOVED Jumanji when I was a kid! That VHS was constantly inside of our VHS player, going on rewind and repeat. With that said, I loved Robin Williams because I knew him as Allen (more might've know him as Genie from Aladdin). I didn't know him as Robin Williams the person, but I knew him as the kid who was instantly vanished to the jungle because of a board game and came back to society as a grown man, having to finish the game because of the havoc it causes. I didn't know him personally, but I knew he was a famous comedian/actor on many other popular movies. I didn't know his heart, but I knew he had money we wish we had, millions of people that adored and idolized him, and a celebrity lifestyle he lived in places we wish we've been, doing things we wish we've done. I don't know what led to his suicide, but I know that regardless of what this man gained in his life full of spotlight and stardom, it wasn't enough to convince him that his soul possessed a purpose that went further than this life; it wasn't enough to convince him that his heart was satisfied; it wasn't enough to convince him that all he needed to feel fulfilled was what this world had offered. He had "everything", but he was still empty. Ladies and gentlemen, this man had what majority of us desire and marvel at, but it wasn't enough. His heart was empty, his soul wasn't satisfied, and his mind was troubled. It's truly difficult to fathom that we will all die at one point, regardless of who we are, and it's even more difficult to understand why people take their own life, let alone someone of Robin Williams' caliber. Yet, the best thing for us to do at this very moment is to consider what it is we're living for. The world says purpose and happiness is found in everything that Robin Williams had, but we've come to find out that in this case, the world is a liar. When considering what we live for, let's consider this: it doesn't matter what we gain, have, or don't have in this world; it won't fulfill us. The truth is, only a true relationship with Jesus Christ can make us whole. #RobinWilliams #Jumanji
