LALAFELL ARE OVER 6FT TALL
Am I crazy? Quite possibly but so are the devs that presented this information to me.
My proof, you may be asking?
Why, these little bastards right here:
THE BEANS
But Carb, I hear you cry. What does this have to do with the lalafell? Aren’t they from Final Fantasy XIV?
Yes, and they are currently doing a collab with Fall Guys. The beans are in FFXIV now, too
Now, here is a picture of a bean with a lalafell:
Clearly, the lalafell are finally taller than something and that’s an accomplishment as they are only 2 fulms 10 ilms to 3 fulms tall according to the wiki. Until now, I assumed a fulm was equal to a foot. That is what we were told.
But then, I saw this:
This is OFFICIAL art from the Fall Guys devs. Abject horror aside, we see next to it, yup, an adult human for scale.
Now, the average adult amab human is about 5 ft 9 in, so that’s how tall the beans are.
And the lalafell are taller than that.
Not much taller, mind you. They’re at least 6ft. Which means 1 fulm is about 2.5-3 feet.
So basically if we were isekai’d into FFXIV lalafell would be taller than the average human. And male au ra could be over 15ft tall.
Am I crazy? Yes. Is there evidence to dispute my claim? Yeah probably, and I’m embarrassing myself.
OR, our world could easily be taken over by giant potatoes and tall lizard men.

How would you quickly describe your wol(oc)'s character growth from ARR - EW?
Strawburry: the "tall lesbian that could" saves the world and wants a nap.
Cherri: rock opera that took to the multiverse, became an epic space opera.
Myrtille: little traumatized au ra learns different meanings to different types of love.
Melograno: a wish brought to life finds poetic street justice.
Honey would've loved it up here...
The Ice Queen sees a chilly end to this year~

what motivates your wol(oc)?
Strawburry - her found family
Cherri - the music that guides her
Myrtille - the ones closest to her
Melograno - a wish made many, many years ago
Happy FFXIV patch day! 🥳

What is a word that your wol(oc) tends to use as an exclamation?
Strawburry - ah, sh*t
Cherri - Dang it.
Myrtille - F*ck!
Melograno - No
I saw the opportunity and I took it.
POSE FOR POWER!

Is your wol(oc) optimistic, pessimistic or pragmatic?
Strawburry - Pragmatic with some leanings towards pessimism. She definitely lives by the, "anything that can go wrong will go wrong" mindset.
Cherri - Optimistic. Her vibe is on par with Spike Spiegel. "Whatever happens, happens." She does look for the best in people. She believes everyone is inherently good, even if they do bad things.
Myrtille - Pessimistic. It could be attributed to her being a teenager. Or it could be the traumatic backstory. Or a mixture of both/a bunch of factors.
Melograno - Pragmatic, but she's hard to decipher sometimes. In her past, she underwent rigorous, militaristic training for the Queen's Guard. This made her stoic, but she did not lose her empathy for others.
