Akira Kurusu Futaba Sakura Ryuji Sakamoto Ohya Ichiko Hifumi Togo Sojiro Sakura Sae Niijima Munehisa Iwai Chihaya Mifune Sadayo Kawakami With Alterations: Kaoru Iwai (Temperance Arcana) Kaoru is being used in our story, The American Dream, to replace Kawakami’s position as The Temperance, as it wouldn’t make sense to move her mid schoolyear, whereas Kaoru would travel with his father wherever. Personality only requires what’s been shown in the story (curiosity, trust in his father, ect) and anything further is basically up to the player. Shiho Suzui (Sun Arcana) Shiho is being used in our story, The American Dream, to replace Toranosuke Yoshida as The Sun, as it wouldn’t make sense to move a Japanese politician to America. She works as Ann’s personal modeling manager, and frequently travels with her. Wakaba Isshiki (Aeon Arcana) Wakaba is being used in our story, Dichotomy, as a special type of role. She is currently listed as our Aeon confidant, and with good reason. So as to not spoil the plot of this story (because we have yet to host it!) we will only give details on this role in a case-by-case basis on those with interest.
Restructuring.
Several of our roles have reopened, and we’ve cut our OC setup. Too little writing was getting done, and as for the other stuff, writers needed to focus on their own personal lives. Updates will be made soon, we’re sorry that we’re not on this site frequently.

Lately, we haven’t really been all that active here on Tumblr, and that is simply because one of our admins is graduating from university (USA so idk other equivalents!) and we’ve been trying to show them major support. The group itself though isn’t gone, we’re not on a hiatus, we’re still here and still active, we’ve just chosen to focus our attention inward rather than outward at this time, and for not giving updates in a while, we apologize.
Currently, if you’re seeking to join us, our open roles are: Sae Niijima, Hifumi Togo, Ryuji Sakamoto, Ohya Ichiko, Sojiro Sakura, Shiho Suzui, Kaoru Iwai, Wakaba Isshiki, and Sadayo Kawakami If none of those suit your fancy then we also have room for 1 more combat oc, though there are 2 guidelines to it, aside from checking out our application, the requirements for the OC are that they must use wind/garu as an element, and must be male (4/7 are female, 1/7 is genderfluid, 2/7 are male). Sexuality is a non-issue here, as we’re accepting of all types of characters and such. We also have room for any non-combat OC’s, as currently, we have none. Aside from that, there is a major update that we’d like to give all of you here on Tumblr. As of 06/01, we will be holding a major raffle to commemorate our first year active as a group. The prize for the single winner will be all 4 of the Persona 5 Funko Pop figures (Mona, Joker, Skull, and Panther), and there are 5 ways to earn raffle tickets starting on that day. Welcome to Reflections!
This is a multistory Persona 5 based Role Play Group. If you’re wondering what that means, well it means that we have no real ‘set’ storyline for the group itself, but several ‘required’ stories that demand members involvement, several ‘leisure’stories that are sign-up based, and some ‘seasonal’ events that come and go depending on the time of year it is! This group is entirely based upon member activity,and because of that we offer a myriad of innovative new things to keep the involvement in the group going, including: Seasonal Writing Contests (complete with real life prizes!), Seasonal Editing Contests (complete with editing prizes!), Personal Rp areas set to the theme of any event storyline, Member Setup RP Events, and Open Location Based RPs. Our discord server is also open to the public, and it isn’t a requirement that you have to be involved or interested in the group to join the server! It’s guest-friendly to everyone that joins it, and has people from various roleplaying sites. Ultimately we seek to revive the Persona 5 verse, as well as bring new writers together from various sites and make everlasting friendships through the writing that we do!
Guidelines
01. This is a group built for fun. If you even begin to show signs of causing drama, without hesitation, you will be removed. We've created a fun and safe space for all of our current members, and we won't jeopardize their fun just because one person wants to cause a problem, so this is the ONLY warning that you will receive on the matter. 02. At max, an rper can only portray two characters in this group, and there is a limitation to that, being that one is canon, and one is an OC. This is to give everyone a fair chance at joining as a canon character. Don't be stingy about joining this group. To add to this; our group roleplays occur on another site entirely. Because of this we no longer require for all members to have a 'nice layout' on ani/rpme/Tumblr because our primary focus is on the site that hosts our group stories. 03. We do not require that you rp with everyone, we do require that you add everyone and participate in the specified group events. We ask that you respect other members as well and that if any problems arise, first you attempt to smooth them over yourselves, then if that doesn't work, request a moderator here to step in and help you to resolve a problem. Also please note; we will never remove another rper from this rpg unless there is provided proof of having been disrespected or bullied by them. As of 1/5/19, we've altered our policies on activity. The reason for this is because we want everyone to have a fair chance at posting in all events that they wish to be involved in, and can no longer deal with kinks in our flow of activity. What has officially changed is: All Leisure Events will have a 10 day turnover. Meaning that if you are involved in a Leisure Event and you take more than 10 days to respond, your turn is officially over, and someone else will be posting instead. If you are skipped 3 times then you'll officially be removed from that Leisure Event. If you come on a second time and the same thing happens, your character will be killed off in that story, barring you from returning to it again. To note with this, all of our Required Events have a 4 day turnover, aside from Seasonal Events, which have a 1 day turnover. With Required Events, if you don't post in the 4 days, you'll get a strike, and after 3 strikes, you'll be removed from the RPG. If you need an extension based on the time or you can't get involved, just let Morgana know, and Morgana will make the proper arrangements for you. 04. This group is about creativity and positivity, if you have any specific type of story that you wish to see showcased on the forum, please let Morgana or Yusuke know, and tell them a bit about what you want to see. We'll do our best to make things as enjoyable as possible for you! After all, we all want to have fun here! 05. We don't care about your romantic interests or any of that. We just don't. Date who you want, do what you want on your page, our only real request regarding it is that you don't push it onto everyone, aside from that go on doing what you do. 06. STRONG TRIGGER WARNINGS because this is a Persona 5 group, there are a lot of things that are going to come up that played a major part in the game. Overall we do not look to make this a non-trigger setup. We liked the corrupt thoughts of the game, we liked the dark tones, so if you can't handle that then please cease from being an onlooker also to note; in your personal rps, please refrain from anything sexual on the forum. We cannot afford to move the forum to a place that will allow for the hosting of that content (as it costs $100+ a year and we'd have to move ALL of our content). If you actually want to rp that content, please do so in a personal way on Discord, or an alternative site, otherwise we'll have to remove your posts. If this becomes a continuous problem, then we'll remove you from the group. 07. We only allow for one of each member of the game to join in this group. That means; no mirrors of an already taken character or alternate versions of the character are allowed to participate in our ongoings. To make this simple; the reason we are doing this is to have a small group. Yes, we'll exclude mirrors, but should that role that you want to play as a mirror ever be opened again, you are free to audition for it. 08. As of 8/31/18, we've altered our policies on Original Characters. The reason for this is because, as it's been made known to us very clearly, every community would rather have their own OC's made, rather than have to deal with our custom made ones. There will be certain requirements that must be met for someone applying as an OC role, and a limit as to the amount of OC's we'll allow in the group. This is all going to be based around the number of canon roles that we currently have taken, that way there is a good balance set. If you have interest in portraying an OC for Reflections please look up the OC Application form, make an account, and apply for the role! Another big part of the OC issue is that; 2/3 of the admins on here must certify your application, and you must be informed by one of them if you've been accepted into the group. This is to keep things fair, and not to play favorites. Everything about this group is based on merit, and if you make the right amount of effort, then yes, you'll likely be accepted, or in case you apply a little too late, your application will be put in a reserved space. 09. Canon is law. We don't care if you want to make your character a lizard person if that's not in canon, it's not going to happen. The reason canon is law is that it establishes the rules for this universe to be rped in. We won't break that, because it's a generalized rule that is easy to align with. Don't alter canons, and if you do, then please don't audition for this group. It's fine if you do it on your own, but in this group altering canons is a no-no. This isn't an AU setup, despite the fact that we have a lot of AU stories. This is all set to canons. Some stories might have AU aspects, and those will be addressed in the group story themselves, and are OPTIONAL to rp in. For all main stories, they are CANON to the game. 10. This shouldn't need to be said but overall have fun. We want those of you that join the group to have fun! That's why we have the guidelines that we do. They're meant to make it a fun thing for people to write in/about, and if you're not having fun, then really, what's the point of being involved? 11. Due to prior experiences and the influx of members that we've taken on, we will no longer allow for individuals to portray the Persona spirits/shadows themselves. If you wish to portray a Persona, then you must portray their partner, as the connection lies between the character and their partner, not their partner and the natural world. Regardless of headcanons and alternative thoughts on things. 12. If you are to join our discord, then please show respect for not only our members, but the others that involve themselves in the discord chat. It is a place for fun and a place for friends, not a place of drama. If you cause any problems, you'll be banned from the discord. 13. If you come into Reflections and take over a role that was previously played by someone else that has since left the group there are a few things that you should be made aware of right now. Currently we have no plans to have anyone go in and redo their writing. There is no plan to alter the posts that they've made. We consider things as they're set to be the 'canon' of those stories, so if you take over a role, you are expected to continue from the point of which the other person left off in our required events however in our leisure events, you can willingly choose to abstain from the same events that they were a part of, and thus we'll have a post made by either Lavenza or Igor to explain the departure of said character from that story to make sense in it. We want Reflections to be fun, but overall we are trying to tell stories together, which means that certain things must take priority.

THE REBIRTH ARCANA
An arcana that is steeped in new and lost opportunities. A signal that it is time to move forward, a step towards the right direction.
Erick’s mother was claimed to have passed from illness when he was little more than a child, but as he grew up he felt something was off - - primarily because he came to learn of how destructive his father was. His father’s methods of training him to be an athlete were cruel, often beating him to a point that any strenuous activity was hard to complete. Because of this, along with his father’s clear perverse nature, Erick investigated his mother’s death behind his father’s back. It came to light that his mother actually committed suicide, jumping off a bridge due to what could only be extreme depression. Erick had decided – in his hot-blooded youth – to confront his father about it, and got mercilessly beaten for it - - far worse than he ever had been before. One thing he came to learn of it though: it was his fault. Life progressed with tension between the two and Erick developed feelings for a girl: Sophie Sonko, whose coach was his own father. He never thought his father would risk his own job to be violent and perverted, but much to his own surprise during a talk with Sophie, he did. And it sent Erick into a fit of fury, so much to a point that the two teenagers broke up and he went straight to his father. Needless-to-say he was beaten again, but it wasn’t before Erick managed to give his adopted father a black-eye. Indeed, a soulless man was the only sort of family Erick could claim to his name, but he didn’t quite figure that out towards the end of high school. He had suspicions of course, given the drastic differences in looks between his mother, father and himself. It took investigation on that front as well to learn the truth, which only built his anger and hate higher for not just his father, but himself as well. The love of his life had been soiled by his own family and he was unable to protect her, his mother died due to his lack of strength as well; he blamed himself for these things despite logically knowing better, how was he to know of either situation until it was too late? As such, while on the outside he mostly lazy and calm, behind closed doors he was training - - preparing. It would go on for quite a few years, all for the goal of murdering his adopted parent one day. He told no one of his plan, but not just that: he even got involved with the wrong crowd. He had already been involved with Boxing, but the sport wasn’t enough to vent his negative emotions, and he looked to darker methods. Joining a secret fighting organization only known as The Underground, Erick was hired on multiple occasions for his brutality, which was uncommon even in that hidden ring. Still, even that wasn’t enough; as much as fighting was of a stress-relief, there was always the lingering plan to carry out: murder Wilbur Blanco, his father. Whether he will ever carry out the deed or not is left to debate, but so long as the man is alive, so too will Erick indulge in these dark gambles - - far out of the reach of the law. And though he refused to admit it, even when Sophie would question his wounds, it was an attempt to punish himself for his lack of knowledge, strength, and common sense. Had he any of those when they were needed, he felt like two of the most-important people in his life never would have had to suffer the indignities they did.
TLDR: Erick is a man that's trying to find his own path in life, unable to come to terms with all that's happened with both of his parents, he seeks to move forward from all of the wrongdoing that's gone on around him, and all of the abuse he's been forced to endure. His Personas are Wimund/Tezcatlipoca. The element that he utilizes is Wind, his ranged weapon is a shotgun, and his melee weapon is a set of brass knuckles.

Catherine Nelson
THE HOPE ARCANA: An embodiment of hope, faith, and servility.
Someone who is either seeking it, has it, or gives it to those that they come into contact with. They act as an anchoring point for the one undergoing the heroes journey.
Catherine Nelson is a young woman at the age of 21, who has been known to be rash in her youth. She’s a student at the University of Southern California, trying to major in Psychology with a minor in Liberal Arts. She’s very well learned in her courses and very astute outside of her classes, being thought of as not quite a genius, as she doesn’t ever put in more effort than what will get her a B or a C in her courses, but someone that’s definitely well rounded.
During her final year studying in college, she went out to party with some friends and found herself taken advantage of. Though this was a travesty unto itself, when she had tried to take it to court, her case was thrown out, and files against her for perjury were charged instead, as the person who had assaulted her had a high level of power and could cause her records to become tainted as a result.
Ever since that moment, she’s felt a vast helplessness, despite the fact that her father is an ex-police detective turned lawyer, who has always been around to protect her. She couldn’t stand the feeling of being powerless and began to act out as a result. For a short amount of time, she drowned her sorrows away with alcohol, and left her education behind in the dust, until she came across the metaverse and learned of the alternative world that there was, which has fascinated her beyond belief.
As a result of wanting to search the Metaverse and learn more about it, despite not even knowing what it was called, she followed any leads she could get from the world itself, as it was brought to her by a key that kept appearing in her pocket. Finally, she came across Yusuke Kitagawa, a well-known artist around her age, who himself was getting over a tragic past, and came to America to make his own path away from it. Intrigued by him, and how the Metaverse had brought her to him, she kept around him as a means to try and understand better just what exactly she was being pulled toward.
TLDR:Catherine acts as a heroic person, despite having her own goals of wanting to take down the man that without a second thought had destroyed her entire life and perspective, and she’ll do whatever she can to ensure her own victory against him, no matter what the cost. She’s very goal oriented with a vast amount of knowledge at her disposal, and her Persona is Apophis. Her melee weapon is a set of Chinese Hook Swords and her ranged weapon is a set of darts. The element that Apophis embodies, and thus Catherine embodies is Dark, as a result of her feeling tainted from the past dreams of hers that now lay destroyed.
Because this is a canon role to The American Dream's event we will be requiring you to use the CANON AUDITION FORM (which can be found on our 02 side-link) as a result if you find interest in her role! Though there is a secondary aspect to her that only the person portraying her will be made aware of, so if you can't handle versatility then please regard that this role might not be the one for you!
A NOTICE TO ALL APPLICANTS: Despite the fact that Catherine was created to fulfill a purpose in a single story, all applicants are welcome to remain in the group and portray Catherine in any/all of our other events as well, however it should be noted that she fills a specific role in The American Dream!
