01. This is a group built for fun. If you even begin to show signs of causing drama, without hesitation, you will be removed. We've created a fun and safe space for all of our current members, and we won't jeopardize their fun just because one person wants to cause a problem, so this is the ONLY warning that you will receive on the matter.
02. At max, an rper can only portray two characters in this group, and there is a limitation to that, being that one is canon, and one is an OC. This is to give everyone a fair chance at joining as a canon character. Don't be stingy about joining this group. To add to this; our group roleplays occur on another site entirely. Because of this we no longer require for all members to have a 'nice layout' on ani/rpme/Tumblr because our primary focus is on the site that hosts our group stories.
03. We do not require that you rp with everyone, we do require that you add everyone and participate in the specified group events. We ask that you respect other members as well and that if any problems arise, first you attempt to smooth them over yourselves, then if that doesn't work, request a moderator here to step in and help you to resolve a problem. Also please note; we will never remove another rper from this rpg unless there is provided proof of having been disrespected or bullied by them.
As of 1/5/19, we've altered our policies on activity. The reason for this is because we want everyone to have a fair chance at posting in all events that they wish to be involved in, and can no longer deal with kinks in our flow of activity. What has officially changed is: All Leisure Events will have a 10 day turnover. Meaning that if you are involved in a Leisure Event and you take more than 10 days to respond, your turn is officially over, and someone else will be posting instead. If you are skipped 3 times then you'll officially be removed from that Leisure Event. If you come on a second time and the same thing happens, your character will be killed off in that story, barring you from returning to it again. To note with this, all of our Required Events have a 4 day turnover, aside from Seasonal Events, which have a 1 day turnover.
With Required Events, if you don't post in the 4 days, you'll get a strike, and after 3 strikes, you'll be removed from the RPG. If you need an extension based on the time or you can't get involved, just let Morgana know, and Morgana will make the proper arrangements for you.
04. This group is about creativity and positivity, if you have any specific type of story that you wish to see showcased on the forum, please let Morgana or Yusuke know, and tell them a bit about what you want to see. We'll do our best to make things as enjoyable as possible for you! After all, we all want to have fun here!
05. We don't care about your romantic interests or any of that. We just don't. Date who you want, do what you want on your page, our only real request regarding it is that you don't push it onto everyone, aside from that go on doing what you do.
06. STRONG TRIGGER WARNINGS because this is a Persona 5 group, there are a lot of things that are going to come up that played a major part in the game. Overall we do not look to make this a non-trigger setup. We liked the corrupt thoughts of the game, we liked the dark tones, so if you can't handle that then please cease from being an onlooker also to note; in your personal rps, please refrain from anything sexual on the forum. We cannot afford to move the forum to a place that will allow for the hosting of that content (as it costs $100+ a year and we'd have to move ALL of our content). If you actually want to rp that content, please do so in a personal way on Discord, or an alternative site, otherwise we'll have to remove your posts. If this becomes a continuous problem, then we'll remove you from the group.
07. We only allow for one of each member of the game to join in this group. That means; no mirrors of an already taken character or alternate versions of the character are allowed to participate in our ongoings. To make this simple; the reason we are doing this is to have a small group. Yes, we'll exclude mirrors, but should that role that you want to play as a mirror ever be opened again, you are free to audition for it.
08. As of 8/31/18, we've altered our policies on Original Characters. The reason for this is because, as it's been made known to us very clearly, every community would rather have their own OC's made, rather than have to deal with our custom made ones. There will be certain requirements that must be met for someone applying as an OC role, and a limit as to the amount of OC's we'll allow in the group.
This is all going to be based around the number of canon roles that we currently have taken, that way there is a good balance set. If you have interest in portraying an OC for Reflections please look up the OC Application form, make an account, and apply for the role!
Another big part of the OC issue is that; 2/3 of the admins on here must certify your application, and you must be informed by one of them if you've been accepted into the group. This is to keep things fair, and not to play favorites. Everything about this group is based on merit, and if you make the right amount of effort, then yes, you'll likely be accepted, or in case you apply a little too late, your application will be put in a reserved space.
09. Canon is law. We don't care if you want to make your character a lizard person if that's not in canon, it's not going to happen. The reason canon is law is that it establishes the rules for this universe to be rped in. We won't break that, because it's a generalized rule that is easy to align with. Don't alter canons, and if you do, then please don't audition for this group. It's fine if you do it on your own, but in this group altering canons is a no-no. This isn't an AU setup, despite the fact that we have a lot of AU stories. This is all set to canons. Some stories might have AU aspects, and those will be addressed in the group story themselves, and are OPTIONAL to rp in. For all main stories, they are CANON to the game.
10. This shouldn't need to be said but overall have fun. We want those of you that join the group to have fun! That's why we have the guidelines that we do. They're meant to make it a fun thing for people to write in/about, and if you're not having fun, then really, what's the point of being involved?
11. Due to prior experiences and the influx of members that we've taken on, we will no longer allow for individuals to portray the Persona spirits/shadows themselves. If you wish to portray a Persona, then you must portray their partner, as the connection lies between the character and their partner, not their partner and the natural world. Regardless of headcanons and alternative thoughts on things.
12. If you are to join our discord, then please show respect for not only our members, but the others that involve themselves in the discord chat. It is a place for fun and a place for friends, not a place of drama. If you cause any problems, you'll be banned from the discord.
13. If you come into Reflections and take over a role that was previously played by someone else that has since left the group there are a few things that you should be made aware of right now. Currently we have no plans to have anyone go in and redo their writing. There is no plan to alter the posts that they've made. We consider things as they're set to be the 'canon' of those stories, so if you take over a role, you are expected to continue from the point of which the other person left off in our required events however in our leisure events, you can willingly choose to abstain from the same events that they were a part of, and thus we'll have a post made by either Lavenza or Igor to explain the departure of said character from that story to make sense in it. We want Reflections to be fun, but overall we are trying to tell stories together, which means that certain things must take priority.
