So I recently lost my job, and am currently on the search for something new. It’s the first time in about 13 years that I didn’t have a job. It’s surprisingly hard for me to say, “yes I want that job”. I am sure I’m sure i’m not the only one that’s experienced this before. I never knew how boring this home life would be until I lost my job. The girlfriend thinks I’m going stir crazy because I have a virtuoso personality. I would say she’s right to say that. I need something to grab my attention and if it don’t then I’m on to the next thing ASAP. Well I’ve got to just keep my head in the game until i get that right spot. That’s the key, get a job that I will be happy with and don’t look back! On the other hand, i been enjoying some great music everyday.

COUNTRY MUSIC

So, I am a huge fan of all types of music. However, the one that cuts to my soul is country music. It’s just sad how a lot of people criticize new age vs old school artist. If music, doesn’t matter what genre, never evolved then that would be sad and depressing. I’ll also say that my favorite three artists are Merle Haggard, George Strait, and Midland. As you can see, I am all generations. I hear people say, “that ain’t real music” or “this music today is garbage compared to what it was in my day”. I wonder if people’s brains just stay stuck in the past or back in a time where their brains were more spongy.  I you are one of these people, I challenge you to listen to the words of a Waylon Jennings song, then listen to a Jon Pardi song. They will have a different beat and tone, however both songs will share a similar message. Either love, heartache, or beer. What I love about country music is that no matter what mood you are in, there’s a song for that.

Sports hoopla

I just love watching sports. Multi-Billion dollar industry that strives on the passion of others. Millionaire owners just playing checkers with peoples lives and careers. I’m not mad about it. I know I love watching the likes of Lebron James and Tom Brady strive to be the best in the world. I mean its all a matter of opinion. However, if you are a sports fan, and don’t enjoy watching the greatest players of this generation killing it every game then you are having trouble with yourself. I’m a fan of anyone who is trying to better themselves. If Tom Brady wants to play until he’s 50 then I’m game! I know Robert Kraft probably isn’t gonna send Brady packing. That’s his king in shining armor. He should probably get his king some help however. Speaking of kings, Lebron is the king of basketball! Wherever he goes is where the fans go and where the money is! Lebron is not delusional calling himself King James! Looking at Lebron, he can probably go another 10 years, and that would be exciting to see what he does once retired. I think all sports fans can agree, love them or hate them, the greatest players all make the checkers board look a whole lot better. So, the point of this rant is that with at the hoopla about sports, you want a Tom Terrific, or The King Lebron on your side of the checkers board.
