Sociologist Olivier Galland has slammed many of his fellow academics for having a myopic view of radicalisation in France, saying that the effect of Islam is more important than social factors like poverty.
After the Bataclan attacks in 2015, Galland launched a survey of high school pupils on the subject of radicalism and found that Muslim students, in particular, were the most tolerant of violence committed in the name of religion Libération reports.
The results of the study, which were published earlier this week, showed that Muslim pupils were often much more illiberal than their non-Muslim counterparts and Galland has claimed that it is the effect of the religion of Islam, rather than simply social factors that drive radicalisation among them.
“We find a divergence and the existence of a cultural divide between young Muslims and their comrades. For them, religion dominates the secular world: this is what we have called ‘religious absolutism’,” Galland said.
“This conception of religion is linked to cultural anti-liberalism, which we measured with several questions, including one on homosexuality: more young Muslims than others do not see it as a normal way of living one’s sexuality,” he added, but stressed: “This does not mean, of course, that all are ultra-radical or that they are potential terrorists.”
According to Galland, the migrant-heavy suburbs of Paris contained the largest amounts of radicalism.
“In some institutions, the proportion of ‘absolutists’ rises to more than 40 per cent. There is also a ‘segregation’ effect: when the rate of Muslim students is very high in a high school, they are more radical than elsewhere. But everywhere, Muslim students are more religiously radical than others,” he said.
Galland also added that only 8 per cent of Christians in the survey advocated any form of religious violence, while the number of Muslim students was 20 per cent.
The study falls in line with what other radical Islamic experts in France have warned, including top scholar Gilles Kepel, who has warned that Europe could be heading down the path to civil war because of the formation of radical Islamic parallel societies.
In an interview with Breitbart London last year, Kepel described many Muslims as identifying only with their local neighbourhoods and Islam, describing such people as having, “their feet on the ground and their head to the skies.”
According to the Terrorist Prevention and Radicalisation Reporting File (FSPRT) last year, there has been a 60 per cent increase in radicalisation in France since the Bataclan attacks.

So the book launch went ahead ion a cold night n the open air, in a desolate part of Manchester, with about 100 police officers forming a perimeter. Instead of the £35 people paid for a signed copy in a safe environment, they queued up in the cold to get a free signed copy.

The latter two have an extraordinarily high quotient of National Socialists/jew haters. Whilst these people are still the lunatic fringe in the rest of society, here’s something to mull over: when they cease being so marginal, they are going to have two ready-made networks of contacts, and lots of indoctrination material to hand.

Eastern Europe already is beautiful. It’s not Eastern Europe that’s the root of problem here, it’s Western Europe and Western World in general who won’t let Eastern Europeans rightfully reclaim the word “Eastern Europe” and fix it’s reputation.
Western Europe treats Eastern Europe like it’s special-needs cousin it’s ashamed of and also convenient scapegoat whenever they need to blame someone. The general attitude towards EE is “they’re all uneducated plumbers” and when people living in that geographical area try to say something, they’re shut down almost immediately.
Prime example of it is always mentioning the unfortunate past of EE, as all bigger mediaoutlets are very, very fond of mentioning “THE FORMER EASTERN EUROPEAN COMMUNIST COUNTRY OF X” without realising that most people here actually mean “better dead than red” literally when they say the phrase.
Countries in Eastern Europe weren’t born in 20th century, almost all of them have thousands of years worth of history. Twisting the communist knife deeper into the wound however will imply that their history started with communism and there’s been no advancements since fall of communism.
Eastern Europe is also very wide in longitude - which means vastly different languages and cultures are summed into one label.
Label that’s actually hurtful for countries like Estonia, because thanks to us being in Eastern Europe people from elsewhere assume we’re all Russians and speak Russian in Estonia. No, we are Estonian and speak Estonian, a language from entirely different language group all together.

I see that you say the state doesn't tabulate this data, but essentially, if I use these stats in an argument, I'd like to be able to back them up if someone says 'oh, he's biased/not credible'. My book proves that the media and the army of state employees have been aware of the grooming gangs for decades. With all their resources, they have not kept ANY statistics on this scandal. When it broke open around 2010, organisations with budgets into the £millions scrambled around to produce stats. The stats were clearly trying to underplay the % of groomers who are “Asian”. It turned out that even with these “official” manipulated stats, “Asians” were still several magnitudes over-represented in these crimes, and the proportion of white victims was also magnitudes in excess. 6 years later, and they still have produced no updated official stats.
So my reports come from trawling news reports and court reports. I don’t claim my stats are perfect, but they are the ONLY attempt to try to gauge what is going on. Since the proportions have barely changed since Norfolk wrote his prize-winning article for The Times in 2011, in 2017 I have only bothered to update the stats once. I haven’t even got round to including the huge trial in Newcastle which concluded a few weeks ago.If you wish to debate this subject with people then I suggest you get a copy of Easy Meat and absorb the prodigious amount of detail in there. I have no doubt at all it is going to remain the most detailed account of this scandal for a decade. The cover-up is so huge no-one else will dare to write a book on this subject, as we’ve seen from the recent sacking of Sarah Champion MP.

I had accounts banned from Twitter and Facebook. I saw that the eminently reasonable Dr. Jordan Peterson was perma-banned from YouTube. So that got me thinking: why waste time on a social platform that is so subject to arbitrary bans? A Jewish female artist (who had some really interesting ideas, ideas which would have been considered to push the boundaries of art 50 to 100 years ago) cannot find a platform where she is not banned. She asked me for a suggested home. Gab.ai is one suggestion (but it’s a bit limited in its features as far as I can see). Then I remembered reading a report that Tumblr was something like 25% porn sites. And I realised that if a social network was going to tolerate that much porn then it was a good indicator that they had a commitment to freedom of speech.
So here I am. I came for the porn, but my contributions will be a lot less interesting.
