hi! I keep seeing commentary about the new ISU rules and as a new fan was wondering where you're reading up about it, is there a summary anywhere?

Hiii! The main issue : the ISU wants to get rid of the short and free programs and having the winner decided by combined scores, and replace them by what they call technical and artistic programs. There would be a winner per segment.

Every skater under the sun is asking the ISU to listen to them and not go ahead with the change so we can only hope.

How are the judges gonna judge an entire artistic program when they can't even give correct pcs and goes 🤡

Don't know where they're at with the gpf semi finals bullshit or having worlds in April and I'm scared to find out 😅

In ice dance they introduced a new bullshit element, that I already forgot about but darn at this point ice dancers won't be skating at all, and pairs got an "artistic spin" which to me is good because they will have more freedom for that element.
