“I have come to notice this, yes.It is a pleasure, Peyton. Vivian Malikov, ” she spoke with a smile and a nod. “Observant, I like this. And you would be correct. It has not been long since I left, still getting used to how you do things here,” she admitted with a laugh. “You’ve been a dancer a long time, no?”

“I’ve never met anyone from Russia before,” she admitted. She had always dreamed of going across the ocean, but she didn’t have the means to do so. “A few years,” she answered vaguely. “Mr. Carmikael takes care of us girls.”

           “Or it’ll only entice him more and then I‘m going to have to take off all my jewelry to kick his ass— I’m way too tired.” Now looking up from what she was doing, Kennedy arched a well groomed brow at the other woman. “Trying to make my hands not look like that of cavemen.”

“--Touche. Right okay, but using a knife to do it kind of makes you look like a caveman. Is this seat taken?” she asked, referring to the obviously empty chair. She could use some company that wasn’t the same men she saw at the club every night.

“Not quite sure how you’re wearing that – it’s freezing in this house,” he teased before pulling his jacket off his body and allowing it fall onto his best friends body with a small smile on his lips. It was nice to have a sense of home outside his own house and especially with Peyton. It was also nice to be having a conversation with her other than his current affair with Allison — which he was still pretty much torn up about from their last meeting together. “Now, did you want soup or something more heavy for dinner?” [ @peytonswan ]

“I guess I’m half blooded,” she joked, a small laugh escaping her lips. She was chilly though, and readjusted herself to get the most coverage from the jacket. “I told you, I’m not ill, it’s just a headache. It’ll pass. So no to the soup but if you’re making dinner, I’m not going to protest.”

               “Don’t call me miss or ma’am..— look, if you’re looking for a lady then you’ve come to the wrong person, sweetheart.” Gaze was lingering on the small knife in her hands that she was using to clean her fingernails, a little too worn out to bother to look up.

“If you ignore him long enough, he’ll go away,” Peyton interjected as she walked into the scene. Eyes fell to rest curiously on the knife. “What exactly are you trying to accomplish with that?”

“And how. I should have never doubted you.” Wide eyes looked around before landing on him again. “You should use that fortune of yours to buy this little lady a drink.”

Short Bio: When Peyton was seventeen years old, she ran away from her childhood home - away from her parents and her brothers in order to find something more, though she never found out what that more was. Instead, she found less. She found a club and a stage and numerous ridiculous outfits and a job that she hated... and she found a new name... well, a nickname. From the moment she first took the stage, she was known as Babydoll, due to her young looking features. Apparently she was good at the whole dancing thing because they’ve kept her around. She looks out for the other dancers, and has been reprimanded for her attitude. Though she’s not actively involved in the turf war, she works for the Carmikaels and she’s heard things whispered in the club when people thought no one was listening.

“I told you not to touch me.” He barely felt the body pressed roughly between him and the wall, his hands gripped tightly regardless of the shaking that seemed to set deep with his bones even as his forearm pressed in on the others throat. Rage was a bitch, and no amount of Ophelia telling him he could own it was making it any easier. Eyes shone yellow, unseen as he threw his head into the others, the sharp crack of skull against skull echoing.

Peyton heard the commotion before she saw the fight, and usually she would let people hash out whatever they were working through... but once she saw who the antagonist was, she couldn’t help but do something. Coming up behind Tate, she made the mistake of grabbing his shoulder and yanking him back. “What the hell was that, Emerson?”

“Confident as ever, love it.” Bonnie smirked before she allowed her body walk towards the bar once again, this time accompanied by Peyton. “They weren’t invited so they better not show up. But if they do – I totally told you to leave, alright?”

“Correction,” she replied, following the birthday girl to the bar. “If my brothers are dumb enough to show up, I’m not here for your birthday, I’m here for the booze - which, by the way, is true.”

You’re lucky that I actually tolerate you.” he nodded in agreement, his amusement written all over his face which currently contained the widest smile he could possibly give. “And that would be a damn shame, wouldn’t it? I have to ask – why aren’t you with your boyfriend or friends? I can’t be the best company you have.”

“Oh, you tolerate me. Okay.” His comment earned a laugh and a snort. “What boyfriend? --My friends are all out trying to survive the heat in pools packed sardines, my AC is out and yours is working. Plus, with you being old and wise I thought you would have good advice about finding a job, and you more than provided. So maybe not the best company,” she joked, made evident by the smile on her lips. “You’re okay, I guess.”
