The Sunset Islands are split up into four sections known as I, II, III, and IV. Developers and architects designed the mansions and grand estates here with more square footage and outdoor space than most in the area. The Sunset Islands have both waterfront and inland estates. They are all 24-hour gated communities. Lots of celebrities have their vacation residences here, but there are many others that have their permanent home here as well. There is only one bridge that has access on to the islands. The Sunset Islands have become very popular to international investors over the past couple of years. Downtown Miami, South Beach, and the Miami International Airport are all surrounding these islands. Sunset Islands I and II are the upper portion of North Bay rd. The properties here run bigger than those of the III and the IV. Most properties are above 20,000 square feet here. Islands III and IV are the Southern most of North Bay Rd. and you can buy a home here starting at about 2 million. The Sunset Islands are a great and central place to live if looking in the South Florida area.
