The Contract of Ascension

Between the undersigned parties:

Mephistopheles, Lord of Cania, hereinafter referred to as the "Patron."

Cazador Szarr, hereinafter referred to as the "Seeker."

The Seeker has tasted the bitterness of eternal night and craves to taste the sweetness of eternal day;

His flesh is tormented by a thirst that cannot be quenched by wine, and a hunger that cannot be sated by victuals;

His soul yearns for ascension above the wretched lot of a walking corpse;

Let this Deed be an inviolable covenant, sealed by my power and the warmth of imminent closeness…

And so on.

I’ve been struggling to express my feelings more than usual of late. So I decided to inflict my suffocation on darling Lord Cazador Szarr. He’s my comfort character for a reason, after all!
