members of the pla have been fighting really actively on fl for the past month, and i’ve been locked in, it really heated up yesterday and today was the monthly board meeting so i very immaturely, showed up to the meeting just to watch the fighting in person lol

#pla is portland leather alliance..#they’ve got a really bad reputation. im not a member #but the board meetings are either open to the public or they just don’t check cause i just sat down and watched #first hour was dull but the last two hours were much more interesting

need to start going to leather specific events, rather than just the sex club… it’s cool i love the dungeon but really really getting tired of the dorky themes they do.

#been practicing bootblacking on the most random shit after finishing all my shoes lol

im manic, also and i’m thinking alot, thinking about leather and money and tattoos lol all in relation to eachother of course. it’s about to be oregon leather week next month and im thinking about buying a full bootblack kit, i have a cleaner and conditioner i use on my boots and my bondage cuff but it’s crap from my old job and doesn’t resemble at all the stuff i see bootblacks use online. maybe it would be good for cleaning leather impact tools? i haven’t tried using it that way yet, all i know is while it does keep my boots from being dirty or overly dehydrated, im not getting the results i want from them, and worst of all, the bondage cuff i wear everyday stinks and i have never been able to clean that out. so that’s probably on my agenda tomorrow.

i havent applied for unemployment yet so i have no income right now but i did see that the boot store im looking to buy supplies at is hiring, that’s certainly worth looking into, and i have kinda a weird connection to that store in that, it’s out in the numbers, on 82nd to be exact, and growing up i lived in the apartments directly behind that building, it’s pretty out of the way for me where im living now, but while it would be a long commute, it’s only one bus so super convenient there. not where i was planning on applying but i’m glad i have options

#always feel weird doing this but i deepdived a local bootblack/leatherman on fetlife #read all his writings this morning. i met him briefly a year ago at a leather history event #im very interested in building a relationship with him or atleast being known by him #idealling to learn about bootblacking more intimately
