About Me Essay
I'm not very good at talking about myself. My name is Lunick and I'm 17 years old. My birthday is May 18th. I've been told that I'm a giant cheeseball and that I am too sweet to even exist. I'm not sure if that's a complement or not. I haven't had any formal schooling since I was 14, but from what I remember, my favorite subjects are history and science.
I try to be cool, but usually I just end up acting like an idiot and putting my foot in my mouth. To be honest, I'm pretty introverted, but I will speak my mind if I think it's something someone needs to hear. I'm not much of a public speaker and don't like being in the spotlight, so I hope that won't hinder my performance in this class.
The most unique thing about me though is that I used to be a ranger, I guess! I've lived in Fiore my whole life and it was always my dream to become a ranger. Fiore is a small region, with only four cities, and in each city is a ranger base. Living in Ringtown, I was exposed to the base all the time and it was all I ever wanted. I sent letters, lots of them, to see if they would accept me. Finally, they did. Being a ranger was a great experience, but after awhile I did get tired of it, and that's why I came to the academy!
I've never liked to stay in one place for too long. I'm impulsive and easily bored, so I like to change things up. I have high hopes for this class and I think it'll keep me entertained.

Ah, a ranger! I've heard so much about them, but usually we don't see as many rangers where I come from! Don't worry too much about public speaking right now; hopefully we will be able to develop that as the year goes on, but I understand if you have difficulty speaking in front of the class at first.
...It's just too bad your favorite subject isn't English. But I won't hold it against you!
