Lunick steps up to Solana's dorm and knocks on the door. The envelope in his hand is starting to wrinkle under his grip, he's so tense. He licks his teeth when no one answers, figures.
He leans towards the door and knocks again.
"Um, h-hey, S-solana... I uh, got you s-something for your birthday? C-can you open the door?"
Solana was in bed, relaxing with a magazine and a few cupcakes when she ignored the knock on the door. She figured it wasn't anyone important, and to be honest, she didn't want to disrupt her quiet time. She had a pretty good birthday, lazing the day away, especially as one of her roommates left the school and the other was m.i.a. Whoever was at the door would only mess that up.
Or so she thought.
Hearing Lunick's voice, she hopped off the bed, cupcake in hand and opened the door. She raised her eyebrows at her fellow bluenette (for NOW MUAHHHAHAH) and spared him a small smile.
[is sitting at his desk, watching the clock pass to 3:30pm. he drums his fingers on the table, eyes now focused on the empty room in front of him]

It's morning. It's a good morning, Barry thinks. Even with the alarm blaring and classes in no less than two hours, and the sun still hiding away, it's a good morning. He wakes up to the sleep ridden vision of Lunick's face. They're crowded in that tiny twin sized bed together, the pinstriped sheets crumpled between and underneath them.

Flipping onto his back, the blond reaches his scrawny arm out and slaps it down on the blinking alarm clock which sits next to Lunick's precariously placed tissues and lotion. By some stroke of luck, he hits the off switch-- after about three tries.
"Hey, Nick," he starts, voice low as he runs a hand through the ranger's hair-- maybe to wake him up a little more, but probably just because Barry likes to do that. "Wake up."
