“Well, I do not enjoy being awkward. I guess no one does, actually, don’t you think?” The brunette responded with a shrug, as her question was obviously rhetorical. Used to being on her own, Blake found it surprisingly hard to express gratitude, and it was a fact she was not willing to admit easily, especially to him, afraid that he’d interpret it as a lack of trust, which was not even remotely true. “Listen, this is... kind of random, perhaps, but... do you think they’ll have me back? You know, when I return?”
