“I suppose I lost my patience.” He admitted, hand moving up to rub at the back of his neck with a quiet sigh. “Some of the games are harder then I thought, you know.” It doesn’t really excuse his behaviour, but at least it explains it. This… feels a little awkward though, at this point. He made something of a scene, huh?

“Well...the vendors wouldn’t be in business for very long if they were easy,” she says with a little laugh. “But I get what you mean. It can be frustrating, to keep trying without winning even a little.”

“That’s why I usually give them a shot or two and then move on to the next one. It’s less frustrating that way. So hey, maybe you’ll have better luck if you try something else! Or, well, maybe you should take a little break, first.”

“Mm, well, I am from a tropical region--twice over, actually. Actually, a lot of hula dancers wear stuff like this for practice--not exactly like this one, but close.” Though Phoebe herself knew only the very basics of the art. “So you’re not totally wrong!”

“As for islands...normally, I’d agree, but I hear there’s this island off the north of Sinnoh that’s freezing all year ‘round. I can’t imagine living somewhere like that.”
