   「💘」 “No, no... I’m not your modern day Snow White. I couldn’t call these animals over with song.”                                                  It was a joke, really. N. Amour sat on a flat boulder, petting the small animal gathered at her feet. Small penguins, chickens, the local wildlife on the island... At least the ones that hadn’t mutated. Giving her new company a warm grin, she motioned him to come closer.    「💘」 “I blame my perfume... Come. I think they’ll be alright with you.”

                                                   Well, it wasn’t a lie in the long run.

   「💘」 “It’s been so quiet these days... When we first arrived, I could only wish for solitude like this...”

   「💘」 “Finally…”                                                  Cortex island. To think she was this close to meeting the man she’s heard so much about... If there’s one thing Nayeli couldn't help about herself, it was her curiosity when meeting new people. The way here put her in a sour mood, but she didn’t expect anything less. After everything she’s heard, of course the place would be well guarded. She wasn’t even certain how she’d get around to meeting the man himself, but she’d been playing things by ear since her arrival. Why stop now?

                                                   Only a few steps forward and she found herself stoppign abruptly. The sound of snow crunching beneath someone’s feet were easily heard, and rather fast-paced too. Well that was quick... Someone’s already rushing over to shoo her off the island aren’t they? And here she’d worked so hard to make it this far. Removing a small vial of sedatives from her person, she grinned wickedly before turning to face the oncoming threat,, concealing the vial behind her back now. 

   「💘」 “I’m sorry. Is this private property?”                                                      Her voice sickly sweet as usual, she beamed to come off more welcoming, but that smile morphed into a wide grin upon getting a better look at who was coming to see her.     「💘」 “...Wait...” 

  「💘」 “Wait, wait... I am NOT seeing things right now, am I?”

   「💘」 “Cortex...”                                                  It’s not the first time she’s heard this man’s name since she’s been on this island, and she doubted it would be the last time... Hearing Rhode’s story of hard-luck, she grimaced.    「💘」 “I’m terribly sorry that happened do you, dear... I’d say it’s a blessing you were given a second chance! ...But...”

   「💘」 “I feel it’s not my place to say that...”                                                    She shrugs lightly, her face emphatic.
