My Story

After I posted my letter about starting a new job at Dreamworks I got a lot of messages and emails from people asking if I could talk about my journey more in detail and how I got here despite going to school in Pittsburgh for psychology and almost giving up on animation halfway through college. I know that I would have appreciated reading something like this a year and a half ago so I thought I’d share my story in the hopes that it might be able to help someone who is struggling. Plus: a detailed explanation of how social media has done so much for me as an artist.

Please talk about Daishou being Kenma's fanboy

/Kicks leg in air/ welcome to my tedtalk

When we first meet Daishou we find out him and Nekoma (mainly Kuroo and Tora) have beef with each other and Lev joining into the beef, cause Daishou knows how to rile him up.

Daishou taking a crack at Lev and Kenma laughs (which is I think the first time we’ve seen Kenma laugh) and Daishou looks so pleased about it.

Daishou knows Kenma isn’t as strong as the others yet doesn’t target him at all.

Daishou can see Kenma is tired in the Nekoma match during nationals, knowing the other team is purposely making him run around.

Daishou want’s Nekoma to bench Kenma so he can rest for the final set

Daishou realizing Nekoma knows the other teams tactic of making Kenma run around and calls them a bunch of hardcore sadist for keeping Kenma in the match.

Daishou being impressed by Kenma’s dump shot where Hinata fell.

In conclusion…Daishou doesn’t like Nekoma (or Fukurodani) but he does like Kenma and I believe because of that he probably lowkey wanted Nekoma to beat Karasuno even if he did come at Kuroo after the match. (If he had ran into Kenma instead the interaction would have been different)
