I tried to write something simple just to take part of all this love, even when I’m really bad, but I enjoyed too much to at least try it. And thank you so much for letting me share those weird ideas.

-Ok! Thank you! Do you skate too? Do you live here? How old are you? Is that your real hair? Wooow it’s so blond. Hehe, I like it. I came for vacation, it’s my first time skating on real ice and it’s amazing!

-Ahh… you’re really excited…

-So? Do you skate too? Wanna play hockey? I’m small but I’m fast enough. Let me touch your hair.

-Hahaha, you’re weird.

-Curly, so pretty, I love it.

-…I’m a figure skater… I’m about to be a senior but…

-Like dancing, isn’t it? Have you won? Is it fun?

- Yeah, it’s much fun, but it’s beautiful too, not just about winning.

phichitmetti week - day 7 - free day - planning a wedding is exhausting and headache-inducing. even more so when others insist on doing it for you.

contrary to what everybody’s been expecting, their wedding’s a simple affair, with only a handful of photos taken, and a grand total of four people in attendance.

they’ve moved in together about a month after chris’ last season ends and he officially retires, in a semi-elegant apartment in bangkok, a half hour’s walk from phichit’s home rink. it’s nothing like ether expect it to be, and somehow more than they ever thought it would.

the moment they settle down and get into something of a routine, it’s like phichit’s family takes it as their cue to start badgering about wedding dates and flower arrangements and honeymoon locations.

phichitmetti week - day 6 - pining: long distance - phichit hates the fact that he and chris live in different countries.

it takes them a good while.

phichit never really expected something as fairy tale-like as yuuri and victor’s relationship, he likes to think that that sort of thing is one of a kind, or at least very, very rare, but he’s also thought that, when he were to enter a serious relationship, they’d be reasonably inseparable.

obviously, when your boyfriend / fiancé is a figure skater like you, yourself are, and representing his own country halfway around the world, that is not really possible.

and phichit’s… well, he’s used to it, he guesses, though it’s still as vexing as it was at the beginning.

Phichimetti Week - Day 6 - Pining - Long distance.

Pure, unadulterated smut, with maybe a bit of fluff. Proceed with caution. 

Phichit sat on his bed in only a pair of shorts, cross-legged, and positioned the notebook in front of him until he was happy with the angle, before initiating the skype call.

He was slightly nervous, but also rather excited, casting brief looks at the things laid out beside the notebook.

“Hey, beautiful.”

Phichit beamed at Chris’ face on his screen.

“Hi, love.”

It was late afternoon in Bangkok, evening in Zurich*. They did this as often as they could. It wasn’t enough, but seeing Chris’ smile, hearing his voice, made Phichit happy, made the pain of being apart a little more bearable.

“How was your day?

“Eh.” Phichit shrugged. “Flubbed too many jumps. Got a huge bruise on my butt now.”

“Oh no. Does it hurt a lot, bébé?”

“Nah, I’ve had worse. Wanna see?”

“Your butt? Always.” Chris put all the power of that deep, sexy purr into the statement, and Phichit grinned. They both knew what that voice did to him.

-Hi! Chris! Here!

-Hey, Johnny!

-Thanks for comming to visit our rink. Was your travel too hard? Hahahaha you must be already used to that. We’ll be filming here for the commercial.

-It’s a great rink.

-Look, Celestino is just there with other foreing skaters, he’s been coaching them for a while.

-Woow! Who’s he?

-Oh, he’s a skater from Japan, Katsuki. He’s been doing great lately, we think he’ll be ready to Grand Prix on the next year.

-No, the other boy.

-Oh, that’s our “Thai Prince”. Phichit Chulanont is a skater with quite an interesting story. We all like to say he’s been touched by the Ice Fairy.

-Well, it sounds dramatical, for sure.

-You’ll see, he started skating from a young age at the local rink in a commercial district in Bangkok.

He was great and he realy liked hockey. He was playing all the time with older and foreign boys, and he followed the players on the Thai World Hockey League that was just created some years before. Talent seekers from Singapore Ice Hockey League had their eyes on him already.

But by the age of 11, he and his family went on a travel to Germany. They say he was trully impresed by the beauty of the snow hills and he frozen lakes. He says the day he tried skating on a pond in the resort, he found a blond beautiful boy dancing on the ice, more like floating over the ice and he started to cry and he fell in love.

Right there he left hockey and started figure skating. Everyone says he fell in love with the ice. Phichit says he has the image of that beautiful boy in his mind every time he’s skating.

Well, I think he looks beautiful enough, like a fairy. His dream is that more people realize the beauty on the skating, he wants more people to be able to enjoy it too.

Hahahaha cool, right?

phichitmetti week - day 5 - celebrations: wedding - victor and yuuri get married and the planning and the excitement has chris thinking about what he wants from the future. and, well, he loves surprises as much as victor does, though he might not always show it.

yuuri and victor get married almost a year and a half after getting engaged in barcelona. yuuri has won several golds (which is still a joking topic for all of those involved), and victor has finally, officially retired (much to yuuri’s resigned acceptance), and they’ve both decided it’s time for that step.

so, obviously, to the surprise of absolutely no one, phichit and chris are chosen to be their respective best men. (though, apparently, little yuri plistesky pouted and refused to talk to either of them for a week after they made the announcement.)

the first thing chris does, after he finishes his skype call with an overly excited (and overly-emotional) victor, is to call phichit.

well, he tries to, anyway, but the call won’t connect, probably because his dear boyfriend is busy talking yuuri’s ear off, already making plans and day-dreaming about it more than the actual grooms. he has to chuckle at the starry-eyed look he knows the younger man must be making right now.

eventually, he manages to get in touch with phichit, and make plans (for the parties, for the wedding itself, for the reception and everything in between). and the more time they spend planning, the more chris starts to imagine what it would be like if this were his own wedding he’s planning.

once that thought enters his head, it doesn’t leave.

(This is the fluffiest, most sickly sweet thing I have ever written. I gave it my all.)

“You look formidable.” Viktor beamed, bright eyed, adjusting Chris’ purple bow-tie. “How do you feel? Nervous?”

Chris huffed.

“Nervous? Me? I’ve never been nervous in my entire life, why would I be now? I’m the epitome of cool. Cool as the proverbial cucumber.”

“You’re rambling,” his friend said kindly, patting his cheek. “And you’re trembling. That’s normal, though.”

“I’m getting married to the love of my life, why would I be nervous?” Chris muttered, but more to himself.
