Because we know you’ll be there, we know you really care. You give the opposing pitcher fits because as one loyalist shouts, everybody hits. To be sure in Philly, there might be some boos. Because you passionate fans, like the manager, hate to lose. Your reaction to the action on the field that you impart, spurs us as broadcasters to call the game with enthusiasm and heart. In case anyone is interested, here is the playlist the Phils use in the clubhouse after wins. Dancing On My Own and Cold Heart are the two main songs they sing together. It would be cool as heck to hear these songs sung by the whole stadium during these playoff games.

Eagles head coach (and Super Bowl winner!!) Doug Pederson threw out the first pitch today at the Phillies home opener. Pederson wore a Halladay jersey as he threw a perfect strike to Rhys Hoskins. The jersey was Halladay’s actual jersey, one he wore as a guest during spring training of 2017. Pederson said he wanted to honor Halladay since he was such an important figure to the city of Philadelphia. The Phillies went on to win the game 5-0 against the Marlins.
