âShe made broken look beautiful and strong look invincible. She walked with the Universe on her shoulders and made it look like a pair of wings.â (Insp.)
ladykatrinxc:
Lady Kitty found herself in a tree picking a colored leaf that stood out from the rest. Itâs amber hue caught the attention of her brown eyes, and up she went. Regardless of what a lady should be doing. Once she plucked it, her grip it round it tightened. Just as quickly as she climbed up, she had to come down. Kitty may not follow all the rules, but she knew if she was caught hanging in a tree when Mary came running for her, sheâd be threatened with her maidenâs favourite, âYou will be kissing the hareâs foot if you donât act your age.â line, even though she didnât have much say over the childish noble.Â
Katrinâs body dangled from the tree, but, she wasnât in panic. The expression on her face was silly though. It was getting a little hard for her to look down, tighten her grip and jump when she still had the autumn leaf in here hand. Before she could even think to readjust her grip, her fingers slipped and she came falling out of the tree. Though the Lady was small in size, the fall wasnât all the bad. With no concern for the rest of the body, she opened her hand happy to see the leaf stuck in between her fingers.Â
Bright pink and warm lavender on a canvas of night blue was the painted sky of a sunset as Philippa walked through the forest. She was glad for the glimpse of a meadow aheadâa break in the trees that would allow her to look heavenward into the beauty of nature's twilight painting above.
Breathing in the fresh air, listening to the birds chirping, Philippa suddenly saw a girl falling from the tree , and she rushed to her. ââ Are you alright?ââ She asked, her voice filled with worry.
not-ofreality:
Anya thought about her response for a moment before answering. âWell, itâs different than my country, thatâs for sure,â She laughed softly. âBut itâs a good different. Iâve found Iâve been enjoying my time here, more than I thought I would.â
ââHow different?ââ she asked, her curiosity getting the best of her. ââEngland has a secret charm to win people on its side.ââ  Philippa  smiled warmly at Princess. ââSo rain doesnât bother you?ââ
eleanorofscotland:
âThank you,â Eleanor replied with a small nod, the bright smile now seemingly glued to her face. For her, having tea with a like-minded lady was one of the greatest pleasures in life.Â
It was positively unfortunate Eleanor didnât know the names and faces of all the nobles frequenting the court, so learning the name and title of her new acquiescence made her feel a fair bit calmer. âItâs lovely to meet you, Lady Philippa. I do apologise I didnât recognise you. Normally I wouldâve been accompanied by someone who couldâve introduced us properly, but I fear my companion left just a few moments ago.â
Sitting quietly, with the teacup in hand, Philippa took a delicate sip of her tea . Oh, she liked her tea. It was warm, sweet, and spicy. ââNo need to apologize, your highness. I was away from court for quite some time. Years actually, so I doubt anyone would recognize me now,ââ She said with a warm smile,  seating the cup  back on its plate. ââI think this slight of in informality can be forgiven, donât you agree?ââ  Philippa was all for  formality  and rules, and usually, she would have to wait for someone to introduce her to Princess like it was proper to do, but today she felt like it wasnât needed.

â Why do I have to forgive you⊠have you wronged me? â
ââSeeing that I spilled your drink I thought...ââ she trailed off, waving her hand in the air in a helpless gesture.
eleanorofscotland:
While Eleanor could only sing praise of the people sheâd met during her fairly lengthy stay, there was something very special and pleasant about this young lady. She had clearly been brought up in a familiar manner to the princess herself, polite and soft-spoken, and relaxing in her company was proving to be very easy. âThat would be lovely, thank you. However, I am not entirely sure I ever caught your name.âÂ
Philippa turned and smiled at Princess, then back, as she poured the tea into two cups. ââ Do you take milk and sugar?ââ she enquired, in a gentle and very faint tone of voice.
The Princess seemed warm and pleasant and companionable and she felt relaxed in her company, though Philippaâs earlier outburst was still on her mind.  She could only hope her highness didnât consider her rude or even more heartless. Which she was not. ââ Philippa, ââ She paused, adding some sugar and milk in her tea, ââ Philippa Bennett, Countess of Pembroke.ââ
