summa my characters as splatbabies!!! thanks to @hotmamimuses for drawing the cutest fury EVER
philistinegenius:
“Yes, my dear. Ego the size of the Empire State building, and I’m about 5′6… give or take.”
“Ha– looks like you and I share that trait, then.” Only, of course, he stood at a mere five-foot-one.
“It’s a bit of a shock to find someone shorter than me in this day and age. I find it cute. And don’t worry, it doesn’t make me take you any less seriously.”
philistinegenius:
“She’s a real sweetheart, I can tell. You’re perfect for each other,” he said with just a hint of cheekiness in his voice. “Oh no, don’t worry about that. The kitty I have at home, she sheds white fur everywhere. As someone who wears mainly black, you know my pain.”
Kant blushed a little and smiled. Him and Nuzzle were perfect for each other, it was like his own small companion. He laughed a bit when the other talked about his cat shedding fur and looked down to pick up his own cat. “Oh gosh, really? That must be frustrating to deal and clean up.”
“You know it, but it’s worth it in the end. She’s just too precious.” He gave Nuzzle a final pet before heading to the door. “I’ll be here tomorrow at around two, if that’s alright with you? Call me if there’s any change in plans.”
philistinegenius:
“I’m sure it won’t let you down.”
After a short drive, a flashy club came into view. I wasn’t huge, but it was a decent size, with strobe lights shining out from under the door. The name ‘Highball’ glowed at the top of the building in a bright purple.
Goliath parked the car perfectly on the first try, as if he had experience just pulling into spots and jumping out. “Well, here we are. Not so bad, right?”
Jeremiah didn’t say nothing after that, he just enjoyed the ride until they got to the club. He took a look at it and hummed. It wasn’t too bad, but the clubs he usually goes to are better than this, in his opinion. “Eh, it’s okay I guess. All that matters is the inside.” He said, getting out of the car and heading towards the entrance.
Goliath held the door open for him, revealing an inside full of color and sound, with people losing their minds and dancing like there was no tomorrow, and a couple of slick looking bartenders mixing drinks at the speed of light. There were stripper poles, a stage, and a DJ booth. It looked bigger on the inside than on the outside for sure. “I think it has its charm. Go, get yourself what you want. I’m getting a table near one of the poles.”
Oooooo baby daddy
Sorry for not being here in like. Forever. I’ll catch up on things soon!
Goliath laughed as he started the car and turned on the radio, starting to drive at a much slower speed this time. It was a comfortable car, plush and purple on the inside. “Depends what you consider good, I suppose. They’ve got strong cocktails if that’s what you mean.”
Jeremiah looked out the window when the male started to drive. He felt a bit uncomfortable driving with this man but he had to play it cool. “I suppose, but I have to see for myself on what’s good. I like certain types of drinks.” He said, crossing his arms.
“I’m sure it won’t let you down.”

philistinegenius:
“Will do, friend. Ah, yes, I know your name. It’s not uncommon to hear around these parts,” he chuckled and placed a hand on the cat with an ‘aww’. “You’re a sweet one, ain’tcha? Do you smell my kitty on me? Is that it?”
Kant smiled and looked down when Nuzzle was being affectionate towards Goliath. He chuckled and brought her back some. “It could be that or she’s just doing what she does best. Cuddling.” He said, with a light laugh. “Hope no fur didn’t get on you. She happens to shed when she does that.”
“She’s a real sweetheart, I can tell. You’re perfect for each other,” he said with just a hint of cheekiness in his voice. “Oh no, don’t worry about that. The kitty I have at home, she sheds white fur everywhere. As someone who wears mainly black, you know my pain.”
philistinegenius replied to your post:“Oi– What I lack in height, I make up for in ego.”
“Well, then it seems we’re one and the same.”
“Oh, is that so?”
“Yes, my dear. Ego the size of the Empire State building, and I’m about 5′6... give or take.”
philistinegenius:
And just like that, the contract was sealed. “My dear friend, you are saving me a lot of trouble! I can’t thank you enough. Anything you want is yours. You tell me when you’ll be available to come over and I’ll pick you up.” He gave Kant’s hand a firm shake before handing him a card. “Here’s my number. Name’s Goliath. Pleasure doing business with you. And your cute little kitty.”
Kant let out a huge smile, he was glad that he was able to help him out. It was the least he could do. He nodded his head as the male spoke on hat day to come and took the card then shook his hand. “It’s no problem at all. And I’m free tomorrow, so you can pick me up then. And it’s nice to meet you, Goliath, my name's Kant.“ He said, then glanced down when the cat got mentioned. Nuzzled meowed and rubbed her head on the inventor’s leg.
“Will do, friend. Ah, yes, I know your name. It’s not uncommon to hear around these parts,” he chuckled and placed a hand on the cat with an ‘aww’. “You’re a sweet one, ain’tcha? Do you smell my kitty on me? Is that it?”
philistinegenius:
Goliath smiled to himself, hands on his hips. Every time. Every damn time, he knew how to get exactly what he wanted. What could he say? It was a gift. “Now, now. Yes, I may be out of my mind, but that’s what makes me brilliant. I know a cute little place downtown, and really. Don’t worry. Paying is not a problem.” He opened the door on the passenger side of his car. “The tests won’t be anything scary, pal. Standard scans, possibly a blood sample. Come in. We can discuss the rest over drinks.”
Jeremiah rolled his eyes, he didn’t want to get him what he wanted but he couldn’t say no to free drinks. He glanced over at the car and walked over to him. “They better have some good ass drinks, I want to be satisfied.” He said, going inside the car. It’s been a while since he sat in a car, he mostly walked everywhere he went since the places were close by. He still didn’t like the sound of him being studied, he doesn’t usually let anybody find him out. hopefully it wouldn’t be too bad.
Goliath laughed as he started the car and turned on the radio, starting to drive at a much slower speed this time. It was a comfortable car, plush and purple on the inside. “Depends what you consider good, I suppose. They’ve got strong cocktails if that’s what you mean.”
philistinegenius:
Goliath’s eyebrow raised slightly. This guy really had the hero-speak down to a T. “I know, it’s quite a bold thing to ask, isn’t it? But I guarantee, I wouldn’t be asking you to power lethal weapons. You need more than just a little lightning to make those work,” he grinned in his trademark salesman way. “I’m just asking you to power up my shop a little bit so my machines work more efficiently, nothing more. But hey, if it would make you happy, I can take you out for drinks first.”
Kant listened to more of his offer and finally understood now. He wouldn’t mind powering up a store, that was no trouble at all. He smiled and nodded his head. “Oh, is that all? Sure, I can totally do that. They are times where people ask me to power up stuff sometimes, so it’s nothing new really.” He replied, petting his cat’s backside, listening to her purr. At the other offer of drinks, he put up his hands and waved them a bit. “Oh no, I don’t really drink. I’m just glad that I can help you out.”
And just like that, the contract was sealed. “My dear friend, you are saving me a lot of trouble! I can’t thank you enough. Anything you want is yours. Pleasure doing business with you. And your cute little kitty.”
philistinegenius:
Oddly enough, the threat didn’t have much power. In fact, it may have had the adverse effect. “Hm… Interesting, very interesting… Yes, I can work with this.” He turned to face Jeremiah completely. “I can work with you. It would be an honor to study you, really. Come on in, we can stop somewhere and get drinks before we go back to my place.”
Total confusion just took over Jeremiah and made the orb disappear. This was a quite a turn of events. What was this guy getting at? “Huh? Hold up, goggles. I’m not your little test subject, okay? First, you’re pissed at me and now you wanna come and study me? You’re out of your-” He paused as the other male mentioned drinks. He did like drinks and he was about to go to a bar anyway. He blew the strands of hair out of his face and crossed his arms. “You know what, scratch that. I’ll do it for the drinks, but you’re paying for them. And I don’t want any f***ed up s*** while you study me, either.”
┈ @philistinegenius liked this for a starter!┈
”That looks too suspicious to be normal.″
“What. My shop? Why, cause half of it’s underground?” The young man laughed, rubbing his arm through the sleeve of his puffy jacket. “That’s because it’s actually something else. So no, it’s not normal.”
philistinegenius:
“Hey, no worries.” He took a seat beside Kant without being invited, assuming the guy wouldn’t mind. He put one arm across the back of the couch, leaning in slightly as he grinned. “I’ve heard about your powers, my friend. I think, if you were willing, I could put them to pretty good use. I’m an inventor, see, and I create machines. Do you know how much I’d save if you could just lend me a fraction of your power, say, twice a week? Of course, you’d have access to anything you wanted from my store…”
Kant watched as the other male sat down beside him, letting his cat sit on his lap. He relaxed back on the couch and listened to the offer that was being said. After he listened to it, his eyes widened some. That was some offer right there. Giving away some of his powers for somebody he didn’t know? That was pretty risky. But, this guy seemed like a good fellow to him. Although, he had to know him a bit more than that. “Oh jeez…lending you my powers? W-Well, that is some offer you got there.” He paused for moment, then spoke again. “I won’t lend my powers to just anybody, I don’t even know you honestly. If you were to use them, I hope your inventions are for good. I won’t give them if they’re used for evil. Also, it depends on what kind of fraction because giving too much might weaken me. So, it has to be a reasonable amount. But, overall I need to know if I can trust you with my powers. If you can do that, then I might consider it.”
Goliath’s eyebrow raised slightly. This guy really had the hero-speak down to a T. “I know, it’s quite a bold thing to ask, isn’t it? But I guarantee, I wouldn’t be asking you to power lethal weapons. But hey, if it would make you happy, I can take you out for drinks first.”
The reason the goggles were there was so people wouldn’t get bitchy about the hypnotic colors of his eyes. He didn’t need the attention. “Yeah? Then expect to get run over, fuckshit.” He clicked his tongue. “Like you could. What, you some sort of superhuman?”
Jeremiah huffed, he doesn’t have the time for this. Arguing with people like him. But his eyes lit up some when he mentioned him being a superhuman. That was a true fact and he could give an example to show. He smirked and let his hand out. “It’s funny you say that because actually…” he made a darkness orb with a quick movement of his hands and made it slightly big. He hovered it over the male’s car and kept it there. “I am. Now, where would you like the damage at? Windshield? Engine?”
Oddly enough, the threat didn’t have much power. In fact, it may have had the adverse effect. “Hm... Interesting, very interesting... Yes, I can work with this.” He turned to face Jeremiah completely. “I can work with you. It would be an honor to study you, really. philistinegenius:
“Ah, don’t mind if I do!” Very trusting, this one. Eager to please, he felt. He stepped into the house slowly, smile never faltering. He placed a hand on little Nuzzle’s head, giving it a rub. “I have a little cat at home,” well, sort of, anyway. But he didn’t have to tell Kant that.
Once inside, he turned to face the white haired man. “Now, my offer is simple, and I don’t think it will cost you much effort.”

Kant looked as the man came in and petted his cat. He smiled when he said that he also had a cat, he has to know how they could be sometimes. He closed the door behind him and walked inside some until the guy turned to face him. “Oh really? I wonder what that could be?” He asked, walking pass him and heading off to the living room. He moved some of the folded clothes off the couch and put them on the coffee table. “Excuse the mess, I was folding clothes.” He chuckled and sat down on the couch.
