Elliott from Stardew Valley! 🏖️

I was painting a series of portraits for stardew characters a while ago and– Huh? The previous one was painted more than a year ago?? What??? Anyway, here's Elliott! I considered multiple settings for him but ended up with a boat in the ocean since he lives in a cabin on the beach. I get it, rent's expensive af. I'll definitely continue this series, hopefully sooner than 2027 (sorry stardew fans...) Let me know who you want to see next!

Happy digimon week!! 🦖 This year I was incredibly lucky to join the @digigirlzine vol.4! This is a collection of illustrations (and other works) featuring girl digimons by over 100 artists. I painted this Chaperomon! You can check out the entire zine FOR FREE here.

Hug

I feel like I manage ok-ish when drawing one character, but multiple characters interacting? Terrifying. I want to start practicing, so here's a hug. I might be using these two as my guinea pigs for future studies, they are a lot of fun to draw (saber's hair especially).

It's been a few months since I've painted something a bit more personal, so here you go, me! I knowingly messed up the angle of the person in blue for the effect, but I'm pretty sure there was a better way of drawing this — hoping I can figure it out in like 5 years 👵 As a side note, for those who do digital art, gradient maps are amazing for painting clouds. As long as you can paint a good value range, you can use them to push the colours further super easily instead of doing it by hand. They're also a lot of fun to play around with!

The Witch Apprentices of the Atelier!

Agott and Anemones 💜🔮

Agott probably starts as everyone's least favourite apprentice, but her journey in the manga so far is pretty heartwarming, and I wanted to do her justice. HER HAIR THOUGH. It was a massive challenge to keep the fluffiness of her curls from the manga's first chapters. That said, I think I couldn't do any better with my current set of drawing skills so I'm proud of how it turned out! I wanted a mix of 《manga early design》+《anime design》, but I ended up leaning more towards the former...

Tetia and Hyacinths 💗🌸

Tetia's turn! I was always afraid of drawing curly hair, since you need to nail the curl shape, and then do the same another 100 times while being mindful of volume— but alas, it's actually pretty fun to draw! I'm going to study how to draw progressively curlier hair until I nail them all!! Speaking of curls, we've got one final girl to go, Agott! I'm already working on her, and I'm doing my best to keep her hair as fluffy as the manga. I can't wait to have the Witch Hat Flower illustration series finished!

Oh Lord, grant me your pardon to have nothing up my sleeve!

🎩🪄🃏🎈🌸 Finally painted Meimi from Saint Tail! Saint Tail was one of my favourite shows when I was a kid, and I got to rewatch it recently in the Portuguese dub and I still love it! I think the story in the manga flows a bit better, but the show's soundtrack is amazing. What were your favourite cartoons when you were little? I'd like ideas to draw!
