→ Name ↳ Maeve Avis Watson
→ House ↳ Graduated Ravenclaw
→ Strengths ↳ She’s kind and loyal and will always listen to you and be there for you no matter what you’ve done. She’ll help you in times of need, and she’ll dance with you in times of celebration. She’s intelligent, but she doesn’t like to show it very much. She excels in potions and transfiguration.
→ Weaknesses ↳ She assumes the best in people, and she finds it very difficult to say no to someone. She’s easily taken advantage of because of her sweet nature, which ends up in heartbreak and hurt for her. She’s quite shy and quiet, making it difficult for her to make friends. She finds Defense against the Dark Arts and Charms rather challenging.
↳ Maeve was born in Ireland, and both of her parents were muggles, so they were both extremely surprised when they received a letter from Hogwarts on Maeve’s 11th birthday, explaining that she was a witch, and that she should be sent to a special school called Hogwarts in September. When they told their daughter, she was extremely excited, and couldn’t wait to go there and become friends with all the other Witches and Wizards. Upon receiving the letter, the Watson family thought it would do them all better if they moved to live in England, meaning that they’d be closer to their little girl.
When Maeve arrived at Hogwarts, she was placed into the house of Ravenclaw, and she was very proud of herself, but as the year went on, she found that she’d not made one single friend. During her time at Hogwarts, she was constantly teased by the slytherin’s for having two Muggles as her parents, and she was starting to hate herself for being different, and she just couldn’t understand why it was such a bad thing.
Maeve and her parents had a very good relationship. She went home every holiday that she was allowed to, and she made sure that she wrote to them at least once a week during her time staying at the school.
When the battle happened, Maeve was terrified. She’d heard stories about the darker wizards, but she’d never wanted to believe it until she was forced to. When the war broke out, Maeve stayed at the castle and fought valiantly, much to her parents horror, and she managed to survive. But, like everyone, she’d seen things that she’d never be able to talk about. The few friends she’d made were turned into dust in front of her eyes, and every night after the war had finished, she’d wake up in cold sweats because of it.
After the battle, when Hogwarts had been restored to most of it’s former beauty, Maeve returned to the castle to complete her last year. And when she graduated, she was so happy, but there would always be a pang of sadness for her very best friends, who never got the chance to complete their education.
After the war, Maeve’s parents noticed her beginning to grow distant from everyone, so they did everything in their power to stay close to her. They run her everyday, wrote to her, they even suggested a nice psychiatrist that she could see if things were getting too much. Ever since then, the only people Maeve’s been close to were her family.
In the years after the war, she went through many different jobs, but she never found the one for her. Until she began to bake. She started so that she could just pass time at home when she was in between jobs, but it turned into more. It started to become a sort of obsession. First it was cookies and biscuits, and then she turned to cupcakes, and her whole family agreed that they were amazing, and that she could sell them for good money. That’s when she got the idea for ‘Maeve’s cupcakes’. She scouted out the whole of London until she finally found the perfecet shop; small but not too small, and cute. And she opened her very own cupcake shop.
