I did happen to read something and I found this really refreshing because you donât read this kind of thing about a celebrity very often.
Kristen Bell being her adorable self, part 2
Slow Motion | Caden & Jackie
Jackie could talk for hours about the nothingness, she could get lost in conversations about what if's and thoughts and ideas and even central themes to written works. During most human interactions, Jackie could be awkward - she always put her foot in her mouth at the wrong time. But when she talked about ideas like this of things that no one could really prove, she excelled.Â
However, the company was good enough that Jackie didn't want to talk about the essence of someone who looks like you in the world with Caden. She wanted to get to know him, welcome him to town and be a friendly face.Â
So she had invited him to coffee.Â
The two walked down the street as Jackie rambled off about the Breakfast Club.
"- and the scones are so warm when they just come out of the oven. I love that now that summer is getting to an end - though it's still warm out - the start of fall flavors and what not are acceptable to advertise and order. But the food isn't just good, the owner is such a sweet lady. Hadley is kind - and newly married, they make such a cute couple. I'm so glad to see Elliot happy. Of course the food is what draws you in about the Br-"Â
Cutting herself off, Jackie realized that she was rambling incessantly and it was probably getting annoying. "Sorry." She mumbled with a light chuckle. "I ramble." Turning, Jackie smiled kindly at Caden - hopefully she was forgiven.Â
Kristen Bell - 86th Annual Academy Awards (March 2, 2014)
You really should stop listening to private conversations.
"Oh no! I didn't see your phone! I thought you were talking to me."
Interesting.
"Oddly enough, yes."
"My apologies, was there something you wanted?"
"Oh! No, not anything in particular. But now that you have mentioned this clown, I would like to see it."
Caught a Ghost | Andrew & Jackie
He chuckled somewhat nervously. âI suppose youâre right.â Andrew added in turn. Indeed she was. Trust was something he valued. If someone were to confine something in him, he most likely wouldnât tell a soul. But on the other side of things, Andrew didnât trust a lot of people. At least with telling them things about himself and stuff related. There was a reason why he jumped from town to town so much. Less likely of a chance for him to find somebody he could put his trust in. It made the man that more vulnerable and he knew that trusting the wrong person could put him at risk. To say the least.Â
The term spirits suddenly came into their conversation. A look of puzzlement outlined the brunette manâs face. Eyes narrowing as if he had just heard that correctly. His focus being on the blonde now completely. She had his attention. Not like Jackie hadnât before but by this news, even more so.  It was a lot to take in. To grasp. Something of this nature didnât surprise him. At least not too much. He knew of things that were beyond unbelievable to the normal person. Andrew was involved in those to begin with. Even if he hadnât triggered a certain gene. So, of course not much like that took him off guard. The last thought was as to why she was telling him this. It seemed out of left field to tell a secret like that without some form of reason or another. ââŚUâUm okay. I was not expecting something like but alright. Letâs say that is the truth. But still, I donât know why you thought to share that bit of information with me?â
âI suppose youâre right.âÂ
It seemed like a bit of a moot point, but Jackie just smiled kindly and nodded.Â
Andrew seemed like a reasonable young man. Sometimes, some of the people she told so that she could help spirits reacted... unfavorably. One man had gotten very angry that she had the gull to say that she could see his dead wife - and he had gotten violent. Jackie hoped her gut feeling was correct and telling Andrew so she could help the woman would not be a mistake.Â
So taking a deep breath, Jackie informed Andrew of why she asked him to come here today - at least the beginning part. It seemed to surprise him. But the young man stayed calm. Did he have experience with this?Â
ââŚUâUm okay. I was not expecting something like but alright. Letâs say that is the truth. But still, I donât know why you thought to share that bit of information with me?â
Jackie blinked and thought over her words carefully. "I feel like since I've had this gift, there was some purpose to it. That purpose is to help the spirits I see here and help them move on and obtain peace." Jackie glanced at the woman behind Andrew. She looked... sad?Â
"You have a spirit attached to you, Andrew. A woman - who is currently standing behind you."
Eh, itâs only awkward if you make it awkward.Â
"Truthfully, my middle name should be awkward."
Caught a Ghost | Andrew & Jackie
The warm smile that she presented to him comforted Andrew slightly. It made him a little less uneasy. He began to nod. âYes, like mostly everything.â Andrew replied. Everyone differed in their views and Jackieâs statement was very accurate. As he sat down, Andrew could have sworn he saw a small glance aimed at something. And not at him either. She seemed to be spacing out or as if there was somebody else. But last time he had checked, the only two people there were them. Andrew justified it as to his constant over-thinking.Â
I want to know if I can trust you not to run off and shout about this to everyone?âÂ
That last sentence made Andrewâs eyebrows furrow up. What the blonde had just said seemed to be highly important. A secret, even. Was that it? Andrew thought to himself. Was she about to confide in him? Regardless, the man began to nod once more. âAlrightâ yes, you can trust me. I wonât say anything to anyone. What is it?â Andrew asked. Basically just about on the edge of his seat. Both figuratively and literally.
Jackie knew that her warm smile could be comforting. But it wasn't just for sly, selfish reasons that she smiled at Andrew. He was her friend and she was glad he showed up. Plus, she did want to put his worries to rest and put him at ease.Â
âYes, like mostly everything.â
She smiled and shook her head, letting out a small chuckle at the statement. "We could open a can of worms with that." She informed him, thinking of the philosophical talks they could have about that.Â
Her acknowledgement of the woman had been slight, so Jackie hoped that Andrew didn't notice it. It was weird. She was going to tell him, but she was still being sly and knew he couldn't just see her greet the woman.Â
âAlrightâ yes, you can trust me. I wonât say anything to anyone. What is it?â
Blinking slowly and glancing at him, Jackie studied Andrew for a very long time and stayed silent. Could he be trusted? She sensed that he could. And the woman was curious as well. For once she spoke. Jackie glanced back towards the woman as she encouraged her to keep going.Â
"Andrew I can see spirits of the dead who were once here. I can see them as clearly as I see you and I can communicate with them just like I communicate with them." She paused and let him swallow that pill of information before she would press on and tell him that the reason she was telling him this was because there was a said spirit around him.
Interesting.
"Typically, most would not dress as a clown and dance on a roof, correct?"
"No, not typically. Is this something that you saw?"
Good.
That is actually really awkward.Â
"I'm sorry! This is my fault, isn't it?"
Caught a Ghost | Andrew & Jackie
It didnât take long at all before he was arriving at the park. Â Still, thoughts roaming around his mind as to what this meeting would entail. He tried his hardest not to think so much but that was easier said then done. Being worried most of the time was a trait that Andrew was all too familiar with. Paranoia was up there too. Those traits and thoughts were brushed off as he made his way to where Jackie was currently taking place on the bench. âThatâs not exactly a bad habit. More like the opposite, really.â He stated in return. Punctuality was something he valued too.Â
Then nodding as Andrew heard that the blonde was doing well. ââUh, yeah sure. What about?â The man replied as he sat down beside her. Just as she had instructed him to do. Or suggested. Curiosity began to reel itâs head once again. Andrew tried to act natural and not as if he was suddenly plagued by a plate full of nerves. Luckily, his breathing remained calm and he didnât fidget as he awaited for the answer.Â
He showed up, and for that Jackie was very grateful. She had tried her best to not make the whole thing look suspicious, for she had picked up that Andrew could be skittish at times. When he came towards her, Jackie flashed Andrew a very warm smile, happy he was here. The woman was here as well.Â
âThatâs not exactly a bad habit. More like the opposite, really.âÂ
It actually was a good habit to have. But sometimes, Jackie felt that others did not like her to always show up before them.Â
"Then it is a good habit - I suppose it depends on who you ask, honestly."
He sat down and Jackie watched the silent woman. She walked around the bench a little until she settled and stood behind Andrew. She glanced at Jackie and the blonde nodded slightly in greeting at the other woman with a soft smile.Â
ââUh, yeah sure. What about?â
"This will... be a little hard to explain, so please bear with me." She paused and looked into Andrew's eyes. "I have to say something and I want to know if I can trust you not to run off and shout about this to everyone?"Â
