First of all, not all werewolves are unstable and the ones I’ve heard this from are Alphas who were right about the Nexus, when no one in our family wanted to believe me. I trust them, so you should trust me. We aren’t being manipulated yet, but demons explain why we can’t leave town, Elijah. If you want to talk to Derek or Hadley, go right ahead, but they’re just going to tell you what I already did. 

I have a couple of friends that are witches. Nik is already planning to ask one of them for help.

I heard about it from more than just Nik, Elijah. I’ve only told Nathan and I haven’t been able to inform Kol yet. They want to kill the Alpha Werewolves to get enough power to destroy us and our entire species. I think that is more than just a “threat,” brother.

We aren’t sure, Elijah, of if they can possess us. My inclination is to say that while they may be able to possess lesser creatures, they wouldn’t be able to possess us or the Alphas - we’re too strong. But I’d rather err on the side of caution. If you have any question about it, the code word for the family is Henrik. Alright?

Who else have you heard this from, Rebekah? I will not stand for paranoia among powerful creatures--unstable ones in the regard of the wolves--that might ensure a war I am uninterested in beginning. A threat it is, its truths or lies unfounded until solid, genuine information is given. I trust your urge to protect our family, truly, but we have all been used before, that urge manipulated; I would not wish another shattering of what little bond we possess, not again.

Logical and agreeable, but I am concerned with the who right now. Kol still keeps companionship with witches, I assume as I hope you do; learn what means of protection we might use for ourselves, as I ensure truces among enemies, alliances if they are necessary. I will speak to our brothers. Do not act on fear or threats yet, Rebekah. There is too much we do not know.
