I got Fujifilm XE4 last week, and I have finally had a time to take it outside (backyard actually) with XF 50-140. I really love the camera and it is a huge upgrade from XE1 in terms of AF speed, Q menu settings and waist level LCD. I donāt have the ergo issue with its flat design although I have a big enough hand, and it has no problem with XF 50-140. I hoped to find more birds but I think theyā¦

Pottery Studio
Itās been 25 years since I told myself that I would have a pottery studio at home when I grew up. We bought the potter wheel and a small kiln for my partner in summer since she couldnāt go to the community art center to enjoy her hobby. And today, I tried for the first time since I made three small pots in the sculpture and pottery class during my senior year in high school. It was hard but fun.

Coffee Machine
I really love this coffee machine. We bought it about 5 years ago during Black Friday with the excuse that we would break even if my partner and I would buy a cup of STarbucks every day (which we donāt). We had probably spent way too much for a ācoffee machine,ā but ever since the pandemic started, I have started consuming more coffee than usual and it has become something essential.

Invasive Blackberry
I have been fighting with the invasive blackberry at my backyard behind the garage for 10 or so years on and off. It spread from the small park right behind the my backyard as well as neighbors. I have been more serious about it since last year and I think I am making a good progress, partly thanks to COVID-19. What better things to do during this time? Maybe next year, I think I can at leastā¦

RIP Baby Rabbit
This curious baby rabbit was found killed next day around the same spot in my backyard. He/she was always the last one running away. When I was taking this picture, he/she did not run away when I was slowly approaching to him and let me take this close-up shot. Maybe that was whyā¦

Rainy Saturday in May
Rainy Saturday inĀ May
Seattle always rains almost daily in spring. This year has been a bit strange that it has had less rain than San Diego and LA. I loved it. However, the rain came back today, and it also makes my yard look completely different. So I took out X-E1 and 50-140 lens to try a few shots in rain.
My camera is not weather sealed, but I usually donāt care too much as usual (never have even with Canonā¦

Summit Central At Snoqualmie, WA | 2018
Unless the weather screws up next week (I feel like it will so I am writing this), this week is the last week of snowboarding for this season. This season has been very interesting year for snowboarding. First of all, I had to do a lot more catch up from last yearās absence than I originally anticipated, to the point I felt like I almost started over from where I was 3-4 years ago. It was painful and frustrating first half of the season. Good thing is that consistently going back there almost every week has finally paid off in Feb. For some reason my body started feeling much comfortable with the board and the speed I was pushing myself, although I am still at the novice level. Lastly, I started thinking going to the slope like 16-17 times a season is a bit too much. It is always fun but at the same time maybe I start feeling I donāt want to go up there every weekend just like going to a church or a temple. I think I will cut it down a bit in next season, especially from March when the snow is becoming crusty, which I donāt enjoy as much.
Today was another bluebird day, and of course, Kendrick Lamarās my two favorite albums and Fuji XE-1 made my ride more enjoyable.

Snoqualmie 2018
Summit Central At Snoqualmie, WA | 2018 Due to having a surgery, I completely skipped snowboarding last year and coming back to the mountain in December was what I had been looking forward to. However, the coming back wasnāt that easy. My first day on the mountain in November at Crystal was complete disaster ā I felt like I started all over again. It took three more rides at the green slope toā¦
