I go by Vix, I'm a teen photographer with a passion for live music and band photography, I'm working at my local music venue as an apprentice photographer and thought I'd share some of my work on here.

Music photography is amazing because of how unpredictable and fast-paced it is, there's no real time to plan ahead more than a few minutes, the crowd is constantly moving and shifting and paths open and close. Often it's a case of being patient if you're aiming for a specific shot, but also allowing yourself to see all the other opportunities that turn up. You gotta be brave enough to get up close and personal whenever possible because that's often when the shot stops being static because you're now part of the performance instead of standing far back and spectating through a lens. In the music scene everything is against you - the lighting, the people, the fast moving performance - nothing is on your side but when you work around it you get some amazing shots
