Yuma looked at V, trying to convince him that he could go to the Astral world, save Astral and come back safely. He could understand why V protested, but Astral was his important comrade. He sighed, turning to look at Kaito. "Hey, can you say anything to him?" he asked.

Yuma bit his lips. It looked like he had no chance, no card on the field or in his hand, and his LP was only 200. He knew Kaito was a strong Duelist, but now he already knew Kaito was so strong.

He drew his card and immediately widened his eyes. Rai Rider, a LV3 LIGHT monster. It seemed to be useless, but...

I need to save Astral!

He thought then turned to look at Kaito and V. He couldn't be hesitant anymore. Even they didn't accept him later...

"I Overlay Rai Rider in my hand and Ganbara Knight in my graveyard!"

"What!?"

V blurted. What was Yuma going to do?

"To two monsters, I build the Overlay Network! Mirror Xyz summon! Fly up, wings of light! Eternal Light - Grand Wings!"

V was frozen, staring at Yuma. "You...!?"

Kaito narrows his eyes. Overlaying from the grave? That's a technique he hasn't seen happen much before. In fact, there was only one thing that came to mind and that... couldn't be possible. Not between the two of them. A monster so powerful it doesn't need to activate an effect or use a fusion or ritual spell to touch the dead in order to summon itself, how exciting. Though something about it was... familiar, in a way that was unnerving. What else has Yuma been hiding? Though that card's a name he's never heard of before. Not from Yuma's registry. And Chris's own reaction behind him... this was less of a duel now. There was something else going on here. "So... was that what you were hiding," he asks in a level tone. Kaito keeps his eyes on the monster once it settles on the field, but the question is opened ended, inviting any answer.

Yuma smirked in a moment. Kaito's reaction was something he could guess. After all, a Duel was the simplest way to prove that he had the ability to save Astral and returned safely.

He shivered. His instinct said if he did it, maybe he had to say what he shouldn't say, or do what he shouldn't do. But he didn't care. He need to save Astral by all cost, and that's everything.

"Then let's Duel," Yuma said while pulling his Duel Disk out. "I'll prove both of you that I'm stronger what you think."

A few turns pass, as it always was when it came to a duel. Yuma had become quite the challenge for him after finally fine tuning his skills following the WDC. While Kaito could read most opponents by their first turn, Yuma had become an outlier in sheer unpredictability alone. Galaxy-Eyes had just cleared the field, leaving Yuma now wide open. Now in range to push himself to his limits as Kaito was hoping to see. Because it wasn't the victory, or the duel he cared about; it was whatever was causing Yuma to hesitate. “And with a set card, I end my turn.” Kaito's eyes flick up to where Yuma stood across from him. His signature dragon hovers close, it’s long blue tail coiling around Kaito as he watches closely. Yuma thinks this is about strength, but Kaito's been more than aware of his true potential and what laid beneath the surface. But without will, strength meant nothing. "Go on then."

"Yeah, I know we cannot fail, Kaito. But it's exactly the reason why I need to go, not you or anyone else."

Yuma quietly replied, his voice seemed to be more serious than his own normal voice. Both Kaito and V didn't know anything about the Barian world or Astral world, but he did know. At least he knew where he would go to and how that place looked like.

"A Duel, huh?"

Yuma smirked when listened to Kaito's last words. Thought of it, he and Kaito didn't have a rematch yet since their last Duel. It was possible if he won, V wouldn't protest this anymore.

"I would like it, if you don't mind about Dueling someone you already defeated once."
