i’ve got 4 semesters left until i (finally) obtain my physics degree and i’ve decided to use this account to archive my journey. i’m hoping that regularly updating will help keep me accountable and motivated when the going gets rough. i’m 2 weeks out from finals, have an exam friday, and 2 projects due on monday. i do not foresee much sleep in my future. nevertheless, tonight we learn tensor analysis. one step at a time :)

i did not study for this quiz, wrote down a shot in the dark answer for the free response and guessed on nearly all the MC and i get an 86%?? i’m genuinely going to be sick when i get my solid state exam grade back and a test i endlessly studied for i failed when i succeed so effortlessly in this class

haven’t been on here in a minute but i am killing it left and right this semester, i see all A’s maybe one B+ in my future

#got a 26/28 on my thermo exam #got a 13/15 on my quantum exam #don’t have my em exam til next week but we’re so good #my other class is impossible to not get an A in #also killing it in my lab #imposter syndrome WHO #i know physics no one can tell me different

diving into this bad boy instead of anxiously pacing for the next hour until i can leave to go see superman

#this will last maybe 15 minutes #then i will go back to anxiously pacing #if this movie does not live up to the hype i’ve created in my head #it might ruin the rest of my life #i wish i was joking

it might not be getting better, but i refuse to let it get any worse

before my exam today, people in my class were talking about their preferred AI for studying….. i’m too old to be here, i just googled the teacher’s manual for our textbook so i could see correct solutions for the end of chapter problems

just aced a quiz for my linear and matrix algebra class that i studied the completely wrong material for. have i mentioned that i love math.

i was slightly worried i was being too confident but i was confident the right amount

i’d love to experience the euphoria of being 14 years old and going into hot topic for the first time and buying a band tshirt

#i lost my hot topic virginity to a green day shirt #possibly blink 182 as well but i can’t recall #i haven’t stepped foot in a hot topic in years #i honestly don’t think i’ve even seen one in years #those were the days #no they weren’t i was severely depressed #but ya know nostalgia and all that jazz

rejoice! for the past 3 semesters i’ve only had physics classes but this semester i have a pure math class and i could cry it’s so beautiful. definitions. proofs. theorems. that’s it. that’s all. glorious.
