With that said, this is not a space to hate on Hudson's real life partner or a place to speculate that Hudson is gay (because you're just being biphobic assuming that). what pisses me off to no end is people claiming this “pr” is because he is uncomfortable being labeled as queer, it’s so fucking irritating.

just because he doesn’t fall in what THEY categorize as queer doesn’t negate the fact that he might be.

Idk man is he queer-baiting or not. You can’t have both. He can’t be scheming day and night to be perceived as queer for months to now suddenly uncomfortable apropos of nothing being labeled queer. Pick a lane.

Never mind that he actually very much DOES fall into what they categorize as queer or else they wouldn’t think he’s queer-baiting. I mean, this is the oxymoron that the concept of a real-life person “queer-baiting” is founded on. I’ve said it before but when you accuse someone of queer-baiting, what are you really saying if not “You are doing things I view as queer”? The issue is not that he doesn’t fit their idea of queer. The issue is that he very much does but they refuse to consider the possibility he is.

Either that or - and this is, I think, the case with many shippers - they define queerness by literal actions a person does with other members of the same sex. As in, Hudson kissing a man on the cheek is queer. Hudson calling Connor baby is queer. Etc.

Which makes it so that when Hudson holds his girlfriend’s hand, he is now incapable of being queer because queerness is defined by PDA with members of the same sex.

Trans, bi and ace people all constantly have to deal with their queerness being erased, disbelieved and delegitimized because the broader culture defines queerness by same-sex PDA or physical intimacy.

Real-life queer-baiting is still just the most infuriating concept because you are literally just saying that you believe you are entitled to someone else being gay. Because they were in a show you like. How do you not hear how insane you are.

A HRtwt tale in three parts:

Hudcon shipper: makes a tweet saying it’s sad that Yaga promo is starting and no one is talking about it, everyone is just discussing Hudson's private life.

Hudson fans: show that lots of people talked about Yaga in the last few days, and even got Henry Park trending in some places. And point out that the shipper’s TL may have looked different because she didn’t interact with Yaga content since she only talked about it twice, back in February, when it was announced.

Hudcon shipper: deletes tweet and goes back to talking about Hudcon.

Saw that same account only had three tweets about yaga, 1 being the one saying no one's talking about it and focusing on Hudson's private. All they do is lie and lie and lie! "Henry Park" was literally trending just from a poster reveal alone!

So far all the rumored casting for the White players in s2 have been disappointing.

And this is exactly why I laugh when #they try to make it seem like "solo" fans are the miserable ones. "They'll be backing to sucking each other's faces in a couple months" and then the show will be over and they'll probably never work in the same project again 🤭. Meanwhile us "solos" will continue getting fed because we're actual fans of the actor.

Highlighting the insecurity of a man you believe is struggling with his sexuality and is repressed, and saying that he deserves something that would make that insecurity worse, but you want to believe you care about queer people. I'll keep saying it a million times: hudcons do not care about queer people or queer rights. They are exactly the fetishists they get labeled as.

In the last couple of weeks I've come to the conclusion that no one that ships hudcon can be normal about Hudson. They legitimately believe the relationship is real and no matter how often they get evidence to the contrary they convince themselves of their delusions. On top of that they're bi-phobic, misogynistic, and racist. The shippers are truly terrifying. I don't understand what reality they live in and I think they're dangerous.
