ooc: my god. i loved the mario movie sooo much. it did my heart so good to see so many people dressed in peach stuff. i think i liked it even better than the first one so i definitely have to go see it like 5 more times in theaters, right? 👀 totes. i gotta make it happen.

The pavement she stomps on may as well be his heart! Except Bowser will not accept this abuse.

"Your cuddly Koopa King came ALL THIS WAY for YOU and THIS IS HOW YOU REPAY ME!?" His outburst is steaming rain. Fists shot upward match hers - bitter with anger. "KISS ME OR ELSE!"

" NO. I. WILL. NOT! " each words was accentuated with an item that was hurled directly at his huge noggin, the final being a stitch-face turnip. she had another at the ready should he take another step.

" GO HOME! WHY ARE YOU EVEN HERE??? "

"NOT AT ALL!!" Koopas and toadies alike scrambled to evade the stampeding simpleton. Concrete walls would have fallen away against his insistent approach!

The lummox caught the princess's hands in his, pulling her close and curling to her level. Eyes closed, lips puckered, the expectation is obvious.

"KISS ME!"

" ooo, go away! " she grumbled, her temper immediately flaring at his inconvenient timing. her hands balled into tiny fist as her sides. both trembled from the sheer anger contained in her body. a fraction was unleashed on the group when she stomped her heel.

"I will NEVER kiss you."

"C'mon spit it out, do ya wanna come back with me t' Tokyo or somethin'? Hrmmm I'd have t' get ya clothes fer that." If she wants cheek kisses here's her time to ask.

" well, yes. i—huh? what's wrong with my clothes? " the princess appeared genuinely confused by the statement. while it was a nice distraction from what was really on her mind, peach was now feeling a bit self-conscious. she glanced down at her gown in all its spectacular splendor: the vibrant pink color, the puffiness of the sleeves and skirt, and even the oval sapphire brooch that adorned the bodice. it was perfect in every way; he must be mistaken or he was just pulling one over on her. when it came to yusuke of course she believed the latter to be the most accurate interpretation.

"you're just teasing me, aren't you?" she concluded, planting her hands firmly on her hips.

King Koopa generously offered the waving spit rag a second helping. It worked in her favor: subduing his cough forced quiet during her negotiations.

A parent first, Bowser pondered their scheme. The fact his son had become capable of such deception is as good a dose of medicine as a laugh. Unfortunately, the prince had sought help behind his back, to an enemy kingdom, who was taking advantage to make demands of him. Should he be proud or annoyed? Peach did not grant him the time to linger on it.

The beast snarled at her question. His cheek twitched. Lies swam to his tongue immediately. No one tells him what to do! Except, in this weakened state, resting and recovering is what he wants to do. Junior and Peach seemed to realize that before he did. His shoulders fell.

The opportunity opened a new door anyway. "Maybe. I have one condition..."

"I'm sick of being stuffed up-" ACHOO. Bowser dragged the sneeze off with the back of his claw. "Of being stuffed up IN THIS CASTLE. Pick somewhere I can get pampered... I deserve a vacation too...!"

Peach's face scrunched into a look of incredulity; his boldness was utterly flabbergasting. Just moments ago he was knocking at death’s door yet somehow he was trying to spin this to his advantage as if he had gained the upper hand. As ridiculous as it sounded, Peach knew better than to voice this opinion aloud. His temperament was fickle and prone to anger on his best of days; surely she would fair no better while he was sick. The state of his kingdom was a testament of that.

Negotiating with him was often a bad idea but if it supplied her with two kidnap-free months it was well worth the trouble. Plus, it spared her the trouble of cleaning up this abominable mess; it decision was easy to make.

Though these thoughts were rapid fire in her brain but the princess intentionally stalled longer to give the impression that she was deep in thought. If this was going to work, she had to play the game. It was her job to make sure Bowser believed he was winning in this trade or he would demand more. It was a hard lesson, but one she finally recognized in all her years of dealing with him.

After minutes of fake deliberating, Peach announced her defeat with a long, drawn out sigh.

"Fine," she said with a huff. "but we can't leave with you looking like... that. " she gestured to his nauseating state. "You have got to get cleaned up somehow."
