Which U.S.S. Enterprise sickbay would you rather visit?

The TOS Enterprise sickbay complex is way bigger than what we saw on TV, which consisted if J, H, D and F on the floorplan above. Not bad at all, but if a crew of 430 get sick all at once, they'd be overwhelmed.

The classic movie Enterprise sickbay section is literally what we saw in movies I and II. Tiny for a crew of 500, a space plague or something and crewmembers will be left dying in the corridors.

The Next Gen Enterprise sickbay is huge, with the ward and office we see on TV taking up only the bottom left. Special quarentine wards for space diseases, and a hospital ward. Still for a crew of 1,012 I wouldn't want to be caught in an outbreak of lungworms. In TV episodes they talk about converting cargo bays to wards in time of need, so at least they have backup plans. Gotta be the winner.

Steel City Con

I'm sorry but I'm going to be geeking out a bit today because it's Steel City Con and it's been a while since I've done a con. If you'd rather not see it please block my tag. So today has been great so far. We still have pics to do and the Q&A but we did our first round of signatures. We had to wait till she took a bio break but we were fine with that. She def announced that she had to pee. When she came back she said, "you're still here!" I got my TNG Monopoly board signed and the Pasadena SPCA calendar (that I got from the KDK auction) for my friends signed.bThen we spent a whole lot of time with her chatting about this and that and Rudi and her housesitter. One of the interesting things was that I bought the KDK program and there happened to have an autographed pic inside so she kind of hesitated, trying to figure out what to do with it since technically I didn't pay for that then said, "oh fuck it" and stuck the picture back in the program. Also things I loved: 1. Gates remembered my friends. 2. Gates touched my face and kissed my cheek. 3. Gates loved my shirt. Oh cons, I've missed you.
