last night, as I was wrapping up my work, a thought struck me.

usually, we receive gifts on our birthday. have we ever gifted ourselves on our b'day? what if we gift ourselves something? it can be anything — from an actual gift to a boundary or a resistance that you wish to set yourself free from. it can be ANYTHING!

This makes our b'day more meaningful, I believe. We choose to do something for ourselves. We choose us. You choose you. I choose me.

Gifting yourself is such an amazing gesture we can do to ourselves.

I remember gifting myself a beautiful pair of earrings back in 2017, that was my first birthday gift to myself. Since then I've tried to do at least something to make myself feel special.

I think freeing yourself off from a boundary or resistance is such a beautiful idea too. I think we need to practice that more. I still don't have enough courage to reach that point yet but small steps it is! I'm trying more everyday. I hope I can do better in future. ❤️❤️

Morning Pretty Soul! It's already the 2nd of the last days of moonbirthday. As much sad I feel about it, I'm equally delighted that we could pull this off for another year.

I didn't imagine July to be the busiest month I spend. So many things were going on at the same time. I wished to do so much more but time and situation never favors. I hope I can execute them at least someday.

I will forever cherish I the memories we've made in these past 20 days. We've kept this up for 7 years now. These messages have been such a strength to me on tough days as I go through our messages from way back few years ago and smile at them.

When the days feel hard and my heart feels heavy, I always remind myself to listen to mono. It just calms me down. The word moonchild has stuck with me for life, it gives me comfort. Although the verse isn't from mono but it's sung by Joon and the lines "Yes we’re livin and dyin, at the same time" just hits me super hard. I'm actually feeling a good amount of blue today, it's been a rough one.... But nights always calm me down, indeed a moonchild!

I didn't intend to make it a whole Namjoon appreciation post lol but it just ended up that way. Well since it's a wish to you, who is a Namjoon bias, it's valid right?

Hello Pretty Lady!

Ahh is this really it?? 4 days left?? Time really swooosshheeddd.. hehe.

The past week has been super crazy. I've been wanting to cook and eat delish foods, cooking is also a task yanoe, you cook for 3 hours and the meal just finishes in 3 minutes, WHAT A SCAM!!!

Today I'm back with another recipe!! We'll be having it today so I'm writing down the recipe hehe..

It's চটপটি (Côṭpôṭi), basically a street food but we make this at home too.

I'll be sharing a video too since writing down is pretty hard, and videos are always easy to follow. Here we get the spice blend in packaged form, but you can make that too.

The steps are pretty easy,

boil white chickpeas with salt and a little turmeric till cooked through. Keep the water, that'll be needed. Boil some eggs and potatoes as well.

I'm sure yall know about Meethi Chutney, the one that is used in pani puri sometimes and made with tamarind, our tamarind water is similar but spicier and watery in consistency. The video has it all.

Watch the video for the spice mix, add that to the boiled chickpeas, add shredded egg and potatoes to it. Then mix. Add the tamarind water too.

Adjust your spice level accordingly, add some thinly sliced onions and chillies if you like. Add crushed papad to it. And done!

I hope you get to eat it, making this thing is like a project on hand hehe. But so worth it! I like to add a bit of sweetened yogurt to it sometimes it tastes amazing to me.

honestly, I’m glad that the wretched 24th year is coming to an end. and I'm feeling postive about our 25. as Yoongi said, ‘Future is gonna be okay!’

i don't know how “dungdungngok” is pronounced, but the spelling reminds me of Jeon Jungkook. ah, the man... he decided to set our hearts on fire and act so cutely with his round boba eyes!

he's so apna to us. I can't even imagine how whipped Bangtan must be of Jungkook. like they can't just help but adore him.

today was a bit tiring day for me. I fell sick yet again. here, the weather has been drastically changing from heavy rain to intense heat, and my body couldn't cope up with the drastic changes. I fell sick. the entire day went in a daze.

nonetheless, none of this stopped me from watching Jungkook's SEVEN promotion content. the performance video was so sexy! what a gorgeous man.

I had a scrumptious fish curry with a side dish made of prawns for lunch, and the flavours sent me to heaven. I love fish curry, except for the part where I had to remove the skin from the bones. I never enjoy it. I prefer fried fish with fewer bones. What did you have for lunch today? I'm so happy that fate's magic turned out so beautifully. Ahhh my days have got even busier. I had thought I'll take a little chill but nah, it's a whole roller coaster.

I've been having weird cravings, mood swings and burn-out. It takes heart to be happy for someone else. Although I'm most times like this but yanoe this certain something sometimes tugs in your heart and just makes it hard to be happy.
