Influenster XOVoxBox Review!
I was one of the many lucky recipients that qualified for the XO Vox Box through Influenster. I've waited until now to write my review of the products I was given because I wanted to be able to give the best review that I possibly can, so lets begin..
Adore Me: As a special treat Influenster sent out a mass email to those that were going to receive this vox box with a special code from AdoreMe.com making the first purchase free. At first I was a little surprised because I had never heard of Adore Me, and also because it just sounded too good to be true. After spending a little time on the website I ended up on this bra and underwear set.
Cute, right? And 100% free! I was very impressed with the fit of both the bra and the underwear when they finally arrived at my house and will probably be ordering from them again. Also, ladies, I have a code if you’d like to use it and I believe you end up getting $15.00 off, so DM me if you’d like it! Anyway, the material is very comfortable and it looks great on. Colgate: Let me start off by saying that I have a mild addiction to buying new toothpaste whenever a new one catches my eye. It’s one of my quirks, I guess, but I was VERY excited when I realized I was getting a brand new toothbrush (which I had been wanting to try out.. but didn’t want to spend the money because I keep going back to Crest 360 brushes.) AND a new tube of toothpaste! SCORE! I had just seen the toothpaste that I was getting sent for the first time less than a week prior of being told that I was getting this in my box and I was happy about it. Now to start the review. My first time trying the Colgate Optic White toothpaste line, I was not happy. I hated the taste of the toothpaste, it wasn’t very minty, and it didn’t make that much of a difference with my teeth. However, the new Optic White Express White is beyond perfect! It’s extremely minty, makes a great foam, and leaves my teeth feeling nice and clean for a long time, doesn’t taste bad and I can already see a small difference in the look of my teeth. I would recommend this toothpaste to anyone as it’s taking over my #1 spot for toothpaste! Along with the express white toothpaste I got the colgate optic white + whitening pen toothbrush. I was shipped a medium and the problem that I came across (or thought I would have) is that medium brushes actually hurt my teeth as they’re very sensitive. I was wary but still decided to give it a try and it didn’t cause any of the typical problems that I get from medium brushes! The whitening pen tastes a little weird and I couldn’t find instructions for how long to keep the gel on my teeth, but I guess it’ll do the trick while i’m out of white strips. Overall: 10/10. would buy both products again. John Frieda: I was really excited to try new John Frieda products when I did the sneak peak/cheat look for what could be included in my voxbox. I used to use the brilliant brunette line when I was in middle school and then just recently transitioned into the luxurious volume line. In my box were two bottles (one shampoo, one conditioner) of the John Frieda Frizz Ease collection travel samples! I waited a week or two to try these out since I had just bought new shampoo and conditioner. This shampoo is great! My hair is really weird and sometimes doesn’t take well to new products for whatever reason, but that was not the case this time around. My hair was instantly shinier and so much softer and my frizz problem was basically non existent after using this. I really love the smell of this shampoo and that I can smell it on my hair so much later in the day. It’s a great product and I will definitely be buying this once I run out of my shampoo! Tide Pods with Febreeze: The tide pods were probably what I was most excited about getting in my vox box because I love doing laundry and was running low on laundry detergent. Upon opening my box, I grabbed the bag of pods and rushed to open them, they smelled amazing! I love when brands mix Febreeze in with their products and this did not disappoint. The scent was very clean and long lasting. I have clothes that I haven’t worn since my initial use of the pods and they still smell amazing. I was a little nervous about using pods because I have heard horror stories of the pods not dissolving all the way and ruining clothes, but I didn’t run into that problem. I definitely recommend these and can’t wait to buy more! SkinFix: Upon first application of using the skin fix lotion I was disgusted. It had a horrible scent to it and was so thick, but it seemed to help my dry skin almost immediately. I ended up doing a little research into the brand and found out that the lotion I was sent was supposed to help with eczema and that ended up explaining why it was so thick. Now that I’m used to the scent (it just reminded me of oatmeal and something I couldn’t really put my finger on) I use it about two or three times a week for my dry skin on my face and legs. I don’t think I would buy it since my skin is only horrible for a few weeks during the worst parts of winter, but who knows. I do recommend this product if you’ve got very dry skin or eczema though. Lands’ End: I do not shop at Lands’ End nor does anyone I know so I have no review on this. Disclaimer: I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
I want this one moment. It’s what I want in a relationship… which might explain why I am single now. Ha ha.

Wayne State students,
How do you like Wayne? I just applied to transfer there and will be finding out relatively soon, but I would like to know your thoughts and opinion on the school. I will be transferring for the Clinical (Medical) Laboratory Sciences program and would love any help you can give me!

your 21+ year old boyfriend might treat you special and nice but
there’s a reason why they can’t get girls their age
they’re attracted to your naivety
they’re attracted to children
you might be mature, but they’re immature
they can use your lack of experience to leave false impressions of what’s okay that will last you a lifetime
as a girl who went through this too many times while underage i’m just saying… something is wrong… please be safe
