first and foremost i think they are sooo fking codependent its so sickening. i dont know why i feel so strongly about this but i think that 1 brings out the worst in 2, making him insanely fking. ragey. aggressive. reactive. couldnt tell you why thats just my truth. 1 is ALSO like this but he represses heavily and just takes what 2 dishes out until he breaks and they having a screaming match in their house that the whole fking neighborhood can hear (2 moved in with him… offer from 1 that he was heavily against until ermm…idk.whatever.) . then theyre. fine. reset on their fight meter.

when theyre NOT at each others throat or 2 is kicking 1 around like a sad wet dog i think theyre very.. couple you couldnt even tell was a couple evn if you were squinting. out in public at least. 2 is still quite shy even in the privacy of their own home but he loosens up a little.. 1 isnt too different but hes so desperate for 2's gentleness thats hes a little more forward. gentle touches on 2's arm or the back of his head as he moves around the house . the occassional kiss on his forehead when 2 is sitting around. simple touches. he can barely function but fuck a guy desires normalcy. and 2 does too i guess but he has a harder time expressing it. anyways 2 rarely ever reacts but hes boiling inside it embarrasses him a lot. their bedtime situation is basically the same.. they hardly ever cuddle especially admist fights (1 will attempt to sleep on the couch and despite how angry 2 is he always beats him to the punch so he doesnt have to). 2 is quiet about his affections. hes more of a gift giver so when he and 1 get on opposite work schedules he'll pick things up and leave them around where he feels 1 will most likely find them. little stuffed things or snacks. knick knacks. odds and ends. 1 tried to acknowledge it before but 2 gets very tsundere sorry so he just picks it up and moves along because he know 2 Knows that he appreciates it.

I ALREADY TOLD YOU. but i will say again bc i am saurrr autistic. anyways obviously this is not good rep but. in my heart

so it starts in redux, where dude goes through a traumatic experience and gets another voice in his head. the so called demon.

and then you get to p2. dude doesnt mention the events of redux at all. its almost like hes a completely different person. and its not until he gets an injury to his frontal lobe where he starts experiencing

its not until paradise lost that he starts experiencing these personality changes though. a familiar sounding voice, the voice in his head from redux, tells him about the things he forgot. he mentions the events of redux (e.g. the ostriches), as well as other things that dude has forgotten due to trauma (e.g. being kidnapped by rednecks ["maybe you'd remember if you were decked out in some skin tight leather"] whiiich if you ask me sounds like a headmate taking off the burden of trauma.)

and then theres brain damaged which is quite literally his headspace.

the reason that in p2 dude doesnt at all mention anything that happens in p1/redux is because he literally does not remember it. why? because alt dude is the memory holder.

of course this isnt the only example! it happens yet again in p2:pl when dude is jumping over pipes and mentions that he feels like he had been in that room before and couldnt remember why, to which alt dude chimes in and says "maybe it would help jog your memory if you were in some skintight leather" WHICH IMPLIES THAT HES CARRYING THE MEMORY OF WHEN DUDE WAS ABDUCTED AND ASSAULTED. OKAY. OKAY?

piggybacking my own post i think sometime after p1 post game 2 forced 1 into like total dormancy. this isnt to say this didnt also happen Prior. vice versa. or that one wasnt around at all because that wouldnt be realistic. i think they both went through phases of repressing the other which is what lead to their really strange dynamic #currently. but post P1 is the longest stint they had had to date (at least then) i feel. post psych ward i think was 2′s prime time of totally ignoring 1′s existence making him the sole fronter (frontstuck? willing? idk) for god knows how long. pre-1 dormancy when they actually existed around one another 2 was such a horrriible influence. im not saying 1 DIDNT partake in substance abuse but 2 reallyyyy  kicks it into high gear. which is what makes 1 worse leading to the events of p1 (or if you peer into my sexy mind just his mental break. i really dont think he literally Went Postal. definitely prepared. those war journals all feel so real to me though. i think regardless of whether or not he actually went on a rampage he definitely wrote those. found under his bed crammed between the mattress and the frame or some shit. sorry just thinking out loud. win!) . sorry. anyways. i dont think 2 gets any kind of Joy out of tormenting 1. full stop. but i think its cathartic for him. like ive said in another post fucking with him + also repressing him are like the only ways hes comfortable acknowledging his existence + their plurality. and in a way he sort of gets what he wants when 1 finally hits full and seemingly permanent (its not..of course..he comes around..) dormancy . 2 gets to live his life pretending the other doesnt exist doing fuck all. despite his conflicted relationship with 1 i think subconsciously he does desire some kind of consistency regardless of the quality of it. which is what makes me think he’s the one who Married Them off to the bitch. ill have to sit around for a while and think of what comes POST this. since the current headmate total isss (counts on fingers) 7. figure out who came in when what their relationship with the bitch was like how they handled that phase of their life etc. so right now im just going to think abt 2. 2 enjoys being married. kind of. he likes the CONCEPT of it. maybe not the whole “being tied down and having to commit to responsibilities and self preservation because you have someone in your life” thing because he is so used to living for purely himself thats its a hard change that i dont think he gives his all to. but. again like i said before with his subconscious desire for consistency i dont think he’d entirely hate it especially if in a perfect world he was given the time and space to adapt to a totally new way of life with someone that was willing to help him learn and stick around. i think he tries at first when their relationship first blossoms and things arent strained between them. but they both grow to be incredibly bitter i think. the bitch is. well a bitch. and 2 isnt fond of being told what he can and cant do.  i think her unhappiness with him in this Universe is totally warranted as much as i think his difficulty with Real relationships is. its not a fun spot for either of them to be in but i think they both crave companionship badly which is why they stay together for as long as they do. they arent faithful to each other though which honestly i think is one of the many reasons They Were Married For So Long. things like this always come to a head though and eventually they split. nasty fight or something. bitch moves back to her moms. dude keeps the trailer. etc. you know how it goes. i really cannot figure out how im going to slot the others into this. on one hand i want.. dude to split and at LEAST 3 forms or something..it doesnt have to be in order of vg appearance lol.. or its something that happened in the background and despite One Of The being around longer 2 is so adamant about being in control and living how he wants that they just cant exist in the body like He Does. so theyd be old as hell just. forced into dormancy by 2 like 1 was. idk. ill ponder it later. i have images to draw.
