Shadow Walker
I’m a single car in a car park at night, or a bucktooth rabbit that won’t
stop looking to see If their listening. Consonants and vowels
rolled off its tongue and into mine. The next day I felt a narrow eyed cat
crouch behind a desk hoping they didn’t see. But I still don’t know
what anything means, especially the crevices in your shoe. I tried to carve
it in mine and failed so I moved on. Mostly I think I’m unuttered
infinished conversations, maybe even a half eaten bowl of stale food.
