thinking abt the time i lended one of my books on sigils and runes to a friend during covid and i didn't get it back for almost 2 years 😭 (not anyones fault but covids in this instance) and then when i got it back they let me know that something liquid spilled on the book.

it still opens it just bummed me out because it's an old hardback with velvet as the outside, pocket sized rune book from the 80s. nothing was damaged (sorta. i was emotionally) besides the purple velvets dye seeping onto the pages...........and it destroyed the velvet outside and now is only partially velvet textured 🤪🤪

so i dont let people borrow from my shelf anymore 😂 lesson learned.
