We're living in times of spiritual decline. We watch wars unfold on our phones while we argue on social media, as innocent people are being killed by weapons and bombs created to destroy humanity, benefiting only a small group. Although wars have existed throughout human history, it seems we haven’t learned that they lead to nothing good. We keep dancing with the mistakes of the past, while most of us are frustrated spectators, unable to stop watching the main dancers take wrong steps, out of sync and out of rhythm. We want to disqualify them from this atrocious dance contest, but we don't know how…

Poema a la existencia
Me gusta tu manera extravagante de existir, no sé si es porque todas tus acciones a pesar de ser erradas, me haces creer que son ciertas, tal y como una revista esotérica, te muestras tan verdadera y tan falsa, me confundes pero me causas confianza, a veces eres como la luz intermitente de una estrella; tan llamativa y a la vez tan distante, ambas tú y las estrellas me hacen especular sobre mi vida, eres tú la infinita pregunta sin respuesta. Morris Scott Dollens was a prolific writer and illustrator of science fiction. In the 1930s he published one of the first science fiction fanzines when he was just 16. He went on to paint and sell thousands of works, but remained relatively unknown in the science fiction art world. There is a touching tribute to Dollens from a fan here
Hexeosis: Trippy Pattern Movement
At one time the very popular gif artist who is know as Hexeosis was a Creative Director for a respected Motion Graphics firm making TV Commercials for a living. After seeing the creative gif work coming out of the Tumblr community in 2012 Hexeosis was inspired and started making gifs, and got so good at and it and so popular that he decided to strike out on his own and make commissions for a living. The result is a library of fantastically color saturated loops that would serve as a great description for the word ‘trippy’ in the dictionary. For those who follow gif artists closely, please know that he creates these gifs NOT with code but with Cinema4D and After Effects, the traditional tool set of motion graphics designers.
