The question threw Devon off. So far he'd been used to having small talk, who am I, what do I do, what are my hobbies, who are you? At least this girl seemed to throw it on a different route entirely. Was it refreshing? Certainly. It was just the question on if he could adapt quickly enough to her liking. "We can talk about our next date, if you'd rather." He boldly stated, which was surprising even to himself. "We could go for a standard dinner with drinks and a walk around the block. Pinar knew some English before she moved to Kismet Harbor and had spent the subsequent years learning more English as it became her second language. She'd learned the grammar, the slang, regional dialects and yet, she still found herself completely defeated by the language at least once a week.

She had been sitting at the table across from Courtney when she heard "Eh, it's six of one, half a dozen of the other." And no one had questioned it. There was no follow up or explanation and she turned to Courtney, lips parted. "I'm sorry, did you just hear that? What does that even mean?"

"I'm hoping to switch to one weekend a month soon, but I don't see that happening." she exhaled. Especially when it came to the misery of taming one's hair upon rising from a deep slumber. Harlow could write a book on it. "It's more of an attitude-thing, than actual fashion sense." The rounds went by quickly. Five minutes, at times, could seem excruciating depending on the situation that she was in. There had been an equal mix for her thus far with speed dating. For some, she had tapped her foot under the table, willing the time to go by faster. For the other some, she was at least interested in the conversation at hand where she would consider talking to them again. She didn't like to small talk with anyone, preferring to cut right to the chase when it came to speed dating. Five minutes wasn't a ton of time to really get to know someone, but Pinar could acquire enough information. A smile curled against her lips as the next date arrived. "So," she tipped her head to the side, "is your plan to impress me or did you have something else in mind?"

Having not found herself in a serious relationship in some time, Pinar was looking for a reason to spend a night on the town. Five minutes with a few different people would give her all the impressions of others that she would need to know. Part of her was intrigued, seeing if she might spark with someone over brief conversation. It was the romantic in her, though she wasn't willing to admit that to just anyone. Pinar's fingers were curled around a margarita, the tequila hitting just right as she plopped down in the chair across from her next match. "Let's skip the boring questions." The ones her last date had nearly put her to sleep and she didn't want the same thing to happen now. "Tell me something real."

"I haven't even thought of Portland!" Colbie beamed, eyes widening as she looked at the other, slightly shaking her head. "I just know that if I want to find good things while also save some money, thrifting if where it's at. Or boutiques. Pinar's laughter was soft as the blonde came to the realization that she could go to her thrifting needs. "Boutiques are nice, but I haven't found one that I've clicked with yet." She admitted to her, "But I bet Portland has its fair share of those, too." Pinar pulled her phone out of her bag, digging it out in a matter of seconds. "Let's see," she told her, "I can be flexible most days next week. The weekends are better but I imagine that's when you're having to work a lot." Though that was just Pinar speculating with the woman's job. "The only day that's really a no go for me is Tuesday. I will be at the courthouse all day." @colbiebowen

"Six seasons and counting, baby," she grinned back, shoulders shimmying a bit as she said it. While it was never a guarantee that she would be asked back, she'd become enough of a staple in the show that it was all but assured she would have a long career ahead of her as long as she kept answering the calls. "I am. I live for this shit. It's a rush you just...can't get anywhere else. And trust me, I've tried." There was rarely a day that went by that she wasn't seeking some sort of thrill, but at the end of the day she was at her best when she was living and breathing the competitive atmosphere that came with filming. "You almost lost me at working a lot, but you brought it back there. Meet anyone interesting? Any new romances I need to hear all about?"

"It's inspiring, really." She didn't have the longing for the same type of rush as her cousin did, but that didn't mean she wasn't inspired by it. She was in awe, most of the time, wanting to be like her but not being able to break away from her Type A personality shell to do so. "Romances? No," she laughed with a shake of her head. "I did actually sign up for that speed dating thing around town. I don't expect anything to come of it, but I figured it would be a fun way to get some people to squirm in their seats. Because you know if we only have up to ten minutes with someone, I'm not starting off with easy questions like what's your favorite color." The smile came naturally to shape her lips in a soft, upward curve. Bright blue eyes followed Pinar's every move and observed the woman's preparation for their drinks. Leaning against one of the kitchen walls, Harlow tried to shake the feeling of disgust with herself and the intense longing for a shower. It was an exaggeration, if one observed the scene objectively. It could be worse, and yet, Harlow felt mildly embarrassed to not look perfectly polished in front of someone who wasn't Calliope or Alliannah. Her smile widened, even if marginally at best, at the words the brunette spoke. "Maybe it's because it's been a while since my last work out." Harlow shrugged, pushing herself from the wall and into Pinar's direction. "The headband is iconic, though. Have I told you that? It's kind of retro chic." She paused briefly. "It sounds better than me saying I just didn't feel like dealing with my hair today." Considering she knew what she was doing, it felt like an easy enough fix for the situation. She sipped on her own drink, leaning her hip against the counter. "You strike me as the type of person that can pull of just about anything and make it look intentional.
