"Uh-huh," she hummed back playfully. She was willing to drop it for now, but would absolutely keep it in the back of her mind to tease her cousin about mercilessly later. "You'll get there. It'll come when you least expect it. Or it won't and that's okay too." Aliye didn't really know what she wanted in life when it came to romance. Right now she was still happy just having fun with life and seeing where it went. Chuckling at the question, she pulled her phone out of her pocket and swiped over to pictures of her most recent date. "Didn't get to post these because neither of us wanted to deal with the stupid amount of social media buzz it would have caused, but check him out," she said as she flipped to a few photos of her date with the soccer player she'd gone on a few dates with. "He took me to a World Cup game, it was a lot of fun. Probably not going to call him back, but hey."

Pinar nodded her head to Aliye's words. It was okay if it didn't happen. Though the thought wasn't so easily accepted. It was often one she had to remind herself of. Granted, she wasn't even thirty yet and knew that she didn't have to rush into anything. "Damn," her jaw fell slack as Aliye pulled out the photos of the soccer player she had gone on a date with. "And took you on a date to the World Cup? I mean," she shook her head, not knowing how she had missed that. "That's fucking wild," Pinar let out a laugh. "Was it a first date to the game? "And you know I will absolutely hold to that," she grinned back, knowing she would have no issue with talking as much smack as she could if ever life took her cousin in that direction. Her tongue stuck out at Pinar as she pulled the pool cue back away. "See, I fucking knew it. You've totally thought about it, that counts. Girlish fantasies are real. I'd totally still fuck my childhood crush if the opportunity ever arose." Leaning back against the table, she let her gaze shift back to her cousin with a teasing smile. "As long as you end up with someone that treats you right so I don't have to commit a murder, I'm happy for you, though."

She shook her head, though there was a little voice inside her head going what if. "I hope that I find someone worthy like that, too, honestly. But it really hasn't worked in my favor thus far." Pinar shrugged her shoulders, "What about you, though? You plan on bringing any hottie from overseas home, yet or should I stop getting my hopes up?" Pinar teased her cousin. @aliyebalik

"Okay." Colbie paused, fingers tracing the outline of the lace of a skirt that she'd found on a clearance rack. "I normally don't pick up this sort of thing. I'm more of a jeans and a loose shir ton top kind of girl but this skirt with the tulips in the lace is adorable." Colbie beamed, removing the hanger to see there was a stain on it, likely why it was donated and on the clearance rack to begin with. "That's such a bummer." she sighed. "But. I think this skit would be even more cute if it were dyed. You think it would look cute in black?"

Pinar's attention lifted from the clothing rack that she had been scoping out when she heard Colbie's voice. She took in the skirt, moving her eyes down the length of it and then spotting the stain as Colbie removed it from the hanger. "That is a bummer," she pushed her lips out into a pout, "but, I think you are right. I think that dying it black will give it the edge that suits you perfectly." Pinar could envision it now. "And, best of all, it would hide that stain." She knew that many people worked around stains while thrifting, but there was a part of her that had wished that others were more diligent about checking for them. "We could even dye it today, I don't know that I have the patience to wait," she teased Colbie. "I think that it would still look super cute with a looser top as well." @colbiebowen

The only thing that had kept Tanner in the seat for as long as she had been watching the movie was the fact that she had nothing else better to do with her time. As soon as the offer for something more interesting came, she was happy to dump the rest of the movie and get out of there. After sitting for so long, the stiffness in her bad hip took her a second to get back up and stretch out, but as quickly as she could she was following Pinar out of the theatre. "It was fucking terrible, but even that was better than the nothing I'd have been doing otherwise," she shrugged, giving her own answer as to why she'd stayed. "Wingmans is fine with me. I'm not picky when it comes to drinks. If it can get you drunk, its alright by me."

Pinar nodded her head, "I get that, completely." She and Tanner made their way out of the theater. "I like the way you think, once more." She had a feeling that the two of them could get into some trouble and perhaps that was just what they needed. "I'm not picky either when it comes to drinks. More of a cocktail person than wine or beer, but not to say that I won't drink them." Pinar stated with a laugh, shaking her head easily. Pinar was often one to go home after work, not wanting to linger much. But, the warm evening air had convinced her to abandon her normal routine. Pinar sat with one leg crossed over the other on the outdoor patio of Mad Monk Brewing. There was an empty glass that sat before her and her leather bag sitting on the seat next to her. It wasn't until someone passed her table that she looked up, "Excuse me," Pinar called out with a polite tone, "I've got a question," she stated it in a way that it could have been about anything. When she met the other's gaze, a smile curled against her lips, "Are you always this distracting or?"

"Oh I bet," she nodded as she pondered what other sayings different countries had. Heck even different regions of the US had different sayings that sounded strange to outsiders. Laughing, she rolled her eyes, "it's all good and we do. Even some sayings from back in North Carolina would be strange to people here honestly." Smiling, batted her eyelashes momentarily, "I appreciate that. And I'm glad you do. Oh it's a dream. Being a mom is my absolute favorite thing in the world." @pinarxosman

Pinar smiled at Courtney as she spoke of being a mom. The brunette wasn't sure that it was something she wanted to explore in her lifetime. It's not like she had been the best kid, still finding reasons to blame herself for her own parents death even when she hadn't been living in the same country. "I love seeing the updates for her," Pinar admitted, "I don't know if I want them, but I think I will always be able to obsess over how cute other's babies are." She said with a quiet huff of laughter. "What's her most recent milestone?" @courtneyxblake

"You say that now, but when you're married in a few years with a couple kids running around the house, I absolutely will never let you live it down," she teased, reaching over with her pool cue to poke her cousin's side. It was, of course, her place in life to tease the hell out of her younger cousin any chance she got. They were closer to being sisters than cousins and certainly the way they interacted sometimes showed it. "No? Why not?" she asked, stalking her way around to the other side of the table to take her next shot at the table, eyes lifted more towards Pinar than the game in front of them. "I mean, its so fucking cheesy, but that doesn't mean its a bad thing."

"If for some reason that happens, you have all the permission to give me shit." Pinar stated, holding up her hands in a mock surrender. She doubted that it would ever come to that. A squeal left her lips as she was poked with the pool cue, "Easy, you know I'm ticklish!" She laughed, turning away from the pool cue. "I guess I've never thought about it. At least, not that seriously." The admittance fell a little easier from her lips, though that could have been the alcohol. "Like sure, maybe as kids I had a little girlish dream about it." @aliyebalik

"A good drink, huh? I can definitely do that." He said and started making what he knew Pinar usually got. "Yeah we can do either one. I can get us something here and we can slip it in. Maybe some putt-putt. I think I still gotta beat you from the last time we played." He said and passed her the drink. "No. I like this idea. Just give me a few and I'll be right out." He went to the back to finish up his shift and then came right out. "Alright. Ready to go?" @pinarxosman

Pinar rolled her eyes playfully in Eddie's direction as he mentioned needing to beat her from the last time. "Yeah, whatever," she teased, taking the drink from him. She sipped on it, scrolling through social media while she waited for Eddie to finish up. Truthfully, she didn't even know how much time had passed before he returned but her drink was finished. She put her phone into her pocket and nodded her head, "Yes, let's go. We've got some putt-putt to kick each other's ass in." @eddiexcastro

Given how annoying the teenagers had been, it wasn't all too surprising that the other woman wasn't bothered by her stepping in at all. Tanner had never personally been one to keep her mouth shut when something was pissing her off and would almost always be the first to step in. "Well, shit, apparently I should yell at dumbass teenagers more often," she chuckled, her voice still low enough to fade into the hum of the theatre audio for anyone more than a seat or two away. Her head perked up further at the mention of a drink, head nodding once to accept the offer. "Fuck it, a drink sounds better than this shit. You want to get out of here?" The movie had lost her interest long ago and since it had really just been a distraction, Tanner was happy to bail on it now that she had a better option.

Pinar couldn't help but laugh quietly at the woman's words. "I think more people should, honestly." She whispered back before nodding her head to the other's question. "God, please." Pinar stood up from her seat to head to the aisle. "I honestly don't know why I've stayed this long." It wasn't like the cheap movie night was putting her out a lot of money. But Pinar kept hoping it would get better, it just hadn't. "Wingman's is just down the street." She said as they moved toward the door of the theater. Though she knew English wasnt Pinar's first language, she had hoped that her explanation made sense. Letting out a chuckle, she nodded, "oh yeah. We have some weird sayings." She agreed, especially ones she used to hear when living back in South Carolina. The south having their own variations as well and she presumed the north did too. "Don't you guys have some if your own from back home? I'm sure some of those are strange," she shrugged before smiling, "though here in the US we're just kind of strange in general to be honest. "We do." She nodded her head, "I'm sure they would be strange to someone not familiar with them." A point that she had momentarily forgotten. "Hey," she held up her hands in a playful mock surrender, "I wasn't going to say it but I was definitely thinking it." She teased as she dropped her hands. "Kind of strange but I've grown accustomed to liking a good bunch of you." Pinar stated proudly, having loved living in Kismet Harbor for as long as she had. It hadn't been the first time Eddie had brought up the two of them being paired together, nor did she think it would be the last. "If you make me a good drink, I can drink in about fifteen minutes. Then maybe we can go play arcade games or putt-putt. Make a drinking game out of it." She prompted him with a raise of her shoulders. "What do you think? Or do you want to do something more low-key?" @eddiexcastro

Letting her first shot go, the cue ball smashing into the rest of the pile, breaking them out for them to start their game, Aliye stepped back with a satisfied nod. Her attention shifted quickly towards her cousin, brow lifting with a teasing look in her eyes. "Gross, stop. With a smile like that, girl, you're about to walk into a cliche of falling in love with your best friend aren't you?" Though Pinar rolled her eyes about being paired up with Eddie, the smile that followed said far more in Aliye's opinion and she would always be the first to call anyone, especially her cousin, out on things if she thought it would be an interesting point of conversation.

"Falling in love with my best friend? No," she shook her head at her cousin. "I swear, I'm not one that's going to have my life turn into some romantic comedy movie." She moved to the table to take her shot, mostly so that she could avoid looking at Aliye anymore around the topic of Eddie. Pinar lined up the stick, taking a plunge and scattering the balls some more, but none went in. "We've always been best friends. I don't even think I could see us being anything more." Though, she couldn't deny there was a certain part of her that wouldn't hate it. Wasn't the whole point to fall in love with your best friend? But she felt like most didn't actually fall in love with their childhood best friend. That was for the movies. @aliyebalik

It wasn't often that Tanner went out to the movies, but with a few days back home and still trying to keep herself distracted from the notable absence of Erik in her schedule, it had felt like at least something to do. The movie was underway when a gaggle of teenagers freshly on summer break started goofing around in the row in front of her, talking and chatting loud enough to be distracting. Not one to just sit back and let things go, Tanner was up to her feet and leaning over. "Hey, fuckers, how about you shut the fuck up or get the fuck out?" she threatened with a hiss, hands curling tightly around the chair in front of her as the teens looked back spooked. There was a smattering of mumbled apologies before they shuffled down the row further away from Tanner. Plopping back down, she looked over at the woman that was sitting right near her in the same aisle, shoulders lifting in an apologetic shrug. "They were being annoying as fuck. Even if this movie is total shit."

Pinar enjoyed cheap summer movies, regardless if they were good or not. She hadn't heard of the one playing but had been walking by the theater and went in on an impulse decision. The movie hadn't been playing for long when someone in the same aisle as her let out a wrath that sent hooligan teenagers shuffling away. Pinar thinned her lips, biting back a laugh over how quickly the moved to another spot. As the other sat back down, Pinar made eye contact in the dimly lit theater. "Please, I could kiss you for that. I'm so glad you did that, honestly." Pinar said quietly in return. "I'm going to offer to buy you a drink either now or after, if you want to finish this shit movie." @tannerkohli
