Don't know how long I'll be gone, but roleplaying has become more like a chore as of late, so I'm thinking I need a break. Orchid is.. currently refusing to leave his room. He's managed to stay put for almost four days at this point.

The door is closed, but isn't locked. He's wrapped himself protectively in his blanket and let it rest on the top of his head, trying to hide his horns with it. That really didn't work out. They'd be obvious with or without the blanket, and the pair that's on the top of his head are sort of tearing it..

He's just.. sitting in the corner, a place where he could see everything going on in his room. He's.. maybe a little paranoid. When he hears footsteps outside his door, his attention is immediately right there.

Umbra knocked softly on Orchid’s door, pausing a moment before entering. “Orchid? Are you in here..?” He asked.

He saw him and gently approached, not wanting to spook him. “You feelin okay? I haven’t seen you in a bit.” He has brought some apple slices.

He relaxed when he saw Umbra. He trusted him. Still, he sort of.. sunk into his blanket a little. Umbra was one of the last people he would want to discover him like this.

"Yeah.. I'm okay.." he murmured, looking up at him. His eyes wandered to the apple slices. That's.. when the realization that he hadn't ate since he got shattered for the first time hit him. Not that he needed to, of course..

He sat down next to Orchid, humming softly as he held the apple slices in his lap. “Mm... okay... if you need to talk about anything, I’m here.”

Umbra smiled and leaned on the other gem slightly.

He nodded and leaned back on him a little. He tried to give him a soft smile. It.. wasn't very convincing. "Alright... I'll keep that in mind..."

He wouldn't. He didn't want to bother Umbra with his stupid problems. Issues that anyone else would take care of without isolating themselves in a room for days.

He blinked, visibly confused. “Orchid, your issues are important to me. You won’t bother me. Everyone deals with things in their own way...”

Umbra reached over and gently took his hand, smiling softly.

He sighed quietly and held his hand in return. "I know, it's just.. hard to talk about.."

“That’s okay... but don’t put yourself down for it.” He smiled at the other, rubbing Orchid’s knuckles with his thumb. “It’s okay to take your time.”

He began to purr quietly. He was lonely, so being around Umbra was nice.

Umbra smiled back and leaned more onto him, “Okay.” He continued to rub his knuckles, humming softly.

He leaned more as well, continuing to smile. He purred a tiny bit louder.

He nuzzled Orchid’s cheek and smiled. “Do you wanna eat some apples?” Umbra asked, head tilted.

Orchid smiled wider at the nuzzle before glancing at the apples. He.. wasn't very hungry. Of course he wasn't.

He looked back at Umbra's face before nodding a little, murmuring, "Sure."

“Well, um, I was cursed. So... I’m self-aware now and... I could read text that basically said you weren’t feeling good.” Umbra mumbled, gently squeezing Orchid’s hand.

Orchid is.. currently refusing to leave his room. He's managed to stay put for almost four days at this point.

The door is closed, but isn't locked. He's wrapped himself protectively in his blanket and let it rest on the top of his head, trying to hide his horns with it. That really didn't work out. They'd be obvious with or without the blanket, and the pair that's on the top of his head are sort of tearing it..

He's just.. sitting in the corner, a place where he could see everything going on in his room. He's.. maybe a little paranoid. When he hears footsteps outside his door, his attention is immediately right there.

Umbra knocked softly on Orchid’s door, pausing a moment before entering. “Orchid? Are you in here..?” He asked.

He saw him and gently approached, not wanting to spook him. “You feelin okay? I haven’t seen you in a bit.” He has brought some apple slices.

He relaxed when he saw Umbra. He trusted him. Still, he sort of.. sunk into his blanket a little. Umbra was one of the last people he would want to discover him like this.

"Yeah.. I'm okay.." he murmured, looking up at him. His eyes wandered to the apple slices. That's.. when the realization that he hadn't ate since he got shattered for the first time hit him. Not that he needed to, of course..

He sat down next to Orchid, humming softly as he held the apple slices in his lap. “Mm... okay... if you need to talk about anything, I’m here.”

Umbra smiled and leaned on the other gem slightly.

He nodded and leaned back on him a little. He tried to give him a soft smile. It.. wasn't very convincing. "Alright... I'll keep that in mind..."

He wouldn't. He didn't want to bother Umbra with his stupid problems. Issues that anyone else would take care of without isolating themselves in a room for days.
