Most underrated potential danganronpa Yandere?

Excellent question, thank you so much. Most of the Danganronpa characters don't get their yandere flowers, so I think I'll give a few options instead of just one.

For one thing, Sonia and Gundham would be a formidable pair of yanderes, for those of us into yandere polyamory. Potential for gilded cage, potential for petplay, potential for just absolutely weird and outside-the-box gestures of romance that only make sense to two people who have been matching each other's freak for as long as they've known each other. (Or, Sonia matches Gundham's freak; Gundham might not have seen the furthest depths of Sonia yet.) Honestly, maybe toss in Kazuichi, for the disaster throuple you don't want chasing you.

Yandere Chihiro would be great. Really agreeable and sensitive, but also constant surveillance and interfering in your life at every level, and it will continue forever, even if they die. I love a yandere who can and will make this face in earnest: 🥺

(Also, Chihiro's desire to be stronger could manifest in all kinds of misguided behavior.)

Yandere Ryoma would be really candid about it. Straight up not even washing the blood off his face if he kills for his love. He doesn't believe he deserves forgiveness. But he has something to live for. Someone. And maybe he's a little too open about that, too; maybe he says that the one he loves is his reason to live. He's stating it as a fact and not as a deliberate manipulation, but it is manipulative.

Yandere Sakura would be unquestionably hot. She's already really protective of Aoi. I'm not trying to oversimplify her whole thing, but she would just be really cool. The only thing holding me back is that it's a little on-the-nose. Kinda like saying "What if the character everyone's already scared of was scary?" Not quite right, even if Sakura being yandere for Hina makes me smile.

I guess Korekiyo might be underrated? He would definitely make a great yandere. His whole vibe is perfect for it; his backstory just kind of...complicates things. Like, I would love Korekiyo-minus-the-information-given-about-him-in-Chapter-3 as a yandere.

I Hc akane having a hard time enjoying physical athletics while she's recovering from the simulation and even though Aoi helps her enjoy it a bit more. Water aerobics is good for muscular physical therapy (I think) and I think they do it together sometimes

❤ okay so i'm picturing something very specific so let me see if i can explain it correct. you know that one sprite of gundham where he's like ">:O???" which his hands up and he looks like he's gasping like gah?!?!

❤ ^ that sprite when himiko does a magic trick and he's like "wh-what is this sorcery?!" but like unironic even though all she did was an easy card trick.

❤ And imagine Himiko sleeping and the hamsters curl next to her!!!! They would love her so much oh my god.

❤ The height difference too. Gundham is able to pick her up whenever he wants, and carry her any way he wants. Sleepy Himiko resting on Gundhams shoulder as he carries her home.

❤ Instead of Magician, Gundham refers to her as Sorcerous or indeed Mage. Wielder of Dark Magic would work too. "My girlfriend, the SHSL Wielder of Dark Magic" LMFAO.

❤ The amount of respect he holds towards her "master" is inhumane. He is so grateful that there was a mentor to teach Himiko "dark magic". He considers himself cursed, but Himiko's magic is a gift.

❤ There's one specific moment where he knew he was in love. It was when Himiko was doing magic tricks to children, she was smiling at them and their wonder. He watched with wide eyes, his face turning pink. She is so kind, so gentle and sweet. His chest was warm and his gut was fluttery. She's perfect.

❤ They both have a bad time opening up to other people so they're both willing to be patient with each other. It's like that spiderman meme. They're both not irritate by each others emotional unwillingness, for lack of better term.

❤ If she performs the water trick with Gundham in the audience he's gonna start tweaking.

❤ Omg her bonding with one of the black cats Gundham takes care of and she calls it her familiar.

❤ He keeps bringing cats home for her. Gundham plz. Gundham we already have 3. Gundham stop.

❤ Him reading his hamsters to sleep and Himiko is there and ends up falling asleep too.

❤ I think they'd be really cute together. This rarepair is actually pretty valid. It should be more popular. There's like a million of situations that would be cute together.

How wrecked would it be if Kazuichi’s father was always so harsh on him bc he know Kaz wasn’t his actual son? Hear me out: Kazuichi is Rick Sanchez’s son from some one night stand. Where his mom hooked up with Rick one time and Rick never knew he got her pregnant so Kaz grows up with the man she married (either was in the marriage previously or went into it shortly after. I like the idea of her going out for her bachelorette). Kaz would be still like early 20s (def younger than Beth and older than summer. Young enough to still sorta bond. with summer. I want him and jerry to eventually be friends once he chills tf out. ) and doesn’t have to sharpen his teeth bc he inherits it from his birth father (I’m pretty sure rick’s teeth are sharp yk)

One day Kazuichi is brought to Rick’s bc of the crimes yk and the president just dumps him at the smith house and everyone is like “what the fuck”. Rick is told to keep track of his crazy ass kids and if kaz gets loose and goes apeshit Rick is held accountable (a whole speech about the US government bc I feel that’s in presiden’t character). I’m thinking despair ridden, muzzled up and pissed off Kaz. Rick is real pissy about it at first but they all start to come around. Kazuichi breaks into the garage and builds something cool af (idk what yet) and has a whole panick attack when Rick gets mad. Rick gets pissed when he finds out most of Kazuichi’s scars are from his shitty pseudo-father.
