Me reading oumota fics: idk, I get it’s for the ship but making them have a close relationship before the events of the game feels pretty forced

Me making my own AUs: freaking OBVIOUSLY Kaito and Kokichi had a close relationship before the events of the game they’re like basically soulmates it’s literally impossible that they didn’t know each other they’re practically MADE for each other 🙄

I truly believe that the reason Kokichi has all of those freaky creepy smiles and scary artwork is because if you just listen to what he’s saying he sounds absolutely like a little kid cornball who wants to sound cool. Like while you’re playing you’re like “omg what!!! He’s so evil and scary!!!” but imagine if he looked completely normal while he said those things. Genuinely read his dialogue during these scenes. He actually says things like “I’m super evil, because I’m a villain! I do bad things, I’m evil! I love being evil and I’m the greatest villain the world has ever seen! Because I’m so evil!” like this is genuinely his dialogue. He HAD to look scary otherwise there was NO WAY anyone would take him seriously 😭
