I welcome Ted/Rebecca fanfiction requests via my ask box! See below for my guidelines for submitting requests:
Requests can be for any rating (so, yes, you can request smut)
No major character death
No serious illness, injury, or accident (particularly no involvement of cancer, even if it is in a way that is "less serious")
No omegaverse
Explicit fics involving kinks or unusual dynamics will be case-by-case basis, depending on whether it's something I'm interested in and capable of writing. Feel free to submit any smut requests and I will not be offended even if it's something I'm not into.
I fill requests according to what sounds interesting and like something I want to write at that moment; that is to say, it is not necessarily in the order of who requested first.
Request fulfillment will usually be about 1000-3000 words in length.
I have really enjoyed doing fic requests in the past, and it makes me super happy that people want to request things from me, so generally the vibes are very friendly and fun! Don't be afraid to request whatever, so long as it's not containing the couple of things I'm not down to write about.
Something they never tell you about being an adult is the power of just being The Person Who Reliably Shows Up. Even if you donât think you have much to bring to the table except being kind to people, wanting to learn, and contributing when you can. Many of the good things that have happened to me and many of the connections Iâve made have been because I just kept showing up and people were like, whelp, I guess we canât get rid of your ass and now youâre a load bearing part of the community
Oh, okay. I see. You think this has nothing to do with you. You go to your closet and you select out, oh I donât know, that gaslight gatekeep girlboss meme, for instance, because youâre trying to tell the world that you think modern feminism has been co-opted by corporations. But what you donât know is that that meme is not from Instagram, it's not from Twitter, it's not from Tiktok, itâs actually from Tumblr. Youâre also blithely unaware of the fact that in January 2021, Tumblr user missnumber1111 posted, "today's agenda: gaslight gatekeep and most importantly girlboss." And then I think it was a-m-e-t-h-y-s-t-r-o-s-e, wasnât it, who reblogged it with an image of the phrase edited over a piece of "Live, Laugh, Love" wall art? And then gaslight gatekeep girlboss showed up in the feeds of eight different Twitter repost accounts. Then it filtered down through Instagram and then trickled on down into some tragic âalt side of Tiktokâ where you, no doubt, fished it out of some clearance bin. However, that meme represents millions of notes and countless Tumblr users and so itâs sort of comical how you think that youâve made a choice that exempts you from Tumblr when, in fact, youâre wearing the meme that was selected for you by the people in this room. From a pile of âstuff.â
Please stop pestering us with things like this. This has nothing to do with men fighting for their rights. Eve is short for âeveningâ. Please donât turn activism into a joke. Thanks.
