I’m gonna have to take a very big step back because my mental health is literally declining. I was consuming a lot of sh*tacon, which led to fantasies with real children that I couldn't even control. At some point I became dissatisfied with this and wanted to find real materials, but I was afraid of getting caught.

I haven't mentioned this yet, but instead of searching for the actual CSAM, I searched for photos of children relaxing on the beach or children wearing short T-shirts. I probably don't need to say why.

I am a harmful paraphiliac in therapy and would like to briefly outline my experience after more than five years of being fascinated with darkships and VCSAM.

Everything started with an obsession with "harmless" fictional stories about cute relationships in PDF format and strange content involving drawn children. I gradually began to reshape my perspective based on this, but since it happened slowly, I didn’t notice the changes and kept insisting that fiction didn’t affect me. It got to the point where, looking at yet another "cute" PDF art, I started dreaming about my little boy, and this turned from a silly thought into a real goal—which, fortunately, I never reached.My sensitivity to child abuse dulled significantly, but I didn’t notice it, continuing to insist that I was still firmly against real predators. I was interested in fiction for quite a long time, and only when I turned 19 did I join a forum for people like me. There, besides profiles, there were also questions, advice, and again dark ships mixed with disgusting art involving children. My thinking had already been distorted beforehand, and with the forum, everything got much worse very quickly. Only at the stage of searching for my "love" did I realize that I was doing something wrong.

Conclusion: fiction, in most cases, significantly influences paraphilics. It can even affect a healthy person. It just happens gradually. If you think it doesn’t affect you, you simply don’t notice it. I went through this myself and, fortunately, was able to stop and get back on the right path. I strongly recommend not to dive into this swamp, even if you consider yourself a healthy person. Fiction still affects reality.

If you're talking about someone who doesn't have hypersexuality directed at harmful fetishes like child fetishization, doesn't have a harmful paraphilia, or generally doesn't have mental problems that hinder information processing, sexual traumas leading to destructive coping mechanisms and a distorted perception of sexuality and love, then yes, it will affect them less than people who have the problems described earlier(most likely, not all of them are protected from influence, It affects everyone differently). Because they most likely won't consume content that sexualizes and romanticizes pedo//philia, incest, ra//pe, and abuse. It won't arouse them, they won't perceive this content as "cute" or "sexy," and they generally won't have fantasies that romanticize and fetishize violence. Depending on their critical thinking ability, they won't consider such content acceptable.

This kind of content is mostly consumed and create by vulnerable groups who can be made to believe anything, paraphiles, and people with other mental problems related to the perception of violence or sexuality, which will undoubtedly influence them more strongly and more often than “normal” people, which some proshippers love to talk about. That's precisely the problem of this content. It can influence "normal people" too, whoever they are, it can influence, and most likely will influence, those who are not included in the supposed concept of a "normal" person. Yes, it affects everyone differently and not everyone(maybe), but we must not ignore the obvious harm.
