Cooking up one of my classic way too long chapters where there's a lot of world building. I don't even care how long it's getting this section is staying 5 chapters

Rule no 1 of writing dmc or bayo fic is that you need to make sure no one is getting a good grade in therapy no matter where they are in the narrative

This one model really does send me into a spiral every time I see her she's high key my Kyrie inspo when I think of her as a grown adult

Listen. I know it's blatantly a cop out but idc what the DmC crew is doing in the bg of this fic. They're literally set dressing for the character development of various witches. I'm not explaining that mans 'master plan' because he's 1 stupid and 2 this ain't about him also 3 that shit barely makes sense as a last minute twist in the game anywayyssss. They can pop back up as plot relevant when I feel like it

#you can either have elaborated plot on the DmC crew or we can see what we all want to see plot wise within the next year

I'm addicted to making Eva more mentally ill. Kyrie gets to be the nice one Eva's a sicko who's been in exile with her bug husband for 2000 years

#Vergil got his personality from her and Dante got her drinking problem #even if she wasn't a witch I would do this to her #but the timeline gives me plaaaany of room to make it worse

At least with the umbra we have like. At the VERY least we have jeanne and bayo, plus all the fucking jewelry bonus text + some flashbacks. We get Rosa in 2, if you're playing bayo origins Morgana is once again a sensical expansion on what we know about witches and their powers. We JUST have balder. There's maybe like 1 weapon that was sage based.

#BRUTAL situation for me who is obsessed if not addicted to presenting the most plausibly canon story possible #after a certain point I look myself in the mirror and have to agree to start making shit up #SURE! lets assume sages get some sort of magic weapon for the pact! why not. what if the world was made of pudding
